Thank you Alex
That is what I thought. Have a good dayThank you Kor
That is very helpful. Quick question. Do the users need to choose a price range to be in or can GD see the price and put them in the proper category. For example, a home selling for $255,000 would be in the $250K to $275K range but I assume the user needs to choose that category rather than GD seeing the price and placing them there. Thank youOK, I will give it a try. Still have no idea how this works but I will figure it out.
I understand that I put it on the location page but do not know what the shortcode is or where to put it. Thank you.
Thank you. I will try that. How do I make it work so when they click on the category then they go to a page with all of the sub categories rather than the actual listings in that main category. For example, they are on the location page and all 50 states are listed there. They click on Texas. I want them to get to a page that shows the sub categories of Dallas, Houston etc. When they click on Dallas, they go to the listings in that sub category. I hope that makes sense. Thank you
Thank you Paolo and Kor. I appreciate the input. I will try that and see what it looks like without the physical address. My challenge now is how to break down each user category. I can’t decide if it is by zip code category or city category. The thought is to make every membership the same $$$ and limit the number of subscribers based on the size of each zip or city. Thanks again.
OK, so to confirm, there is no way to remove the “address” field when they add their listing. Every GD listing must have a physical address, correct?
Thank you for all of your help with this.
Thank you. That makes total sense about the areas served. Any advice on how to build out the directory so that they could buy a separate city without the physical address? If a Realtor has an office in Dallas but can cover Houston, any advice on how to best set that up? Any way to do a “virtual” office? I guess I could use a field that says other areas served in the add listing page. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
That worked PERFECTLY. I was hinting through GD and never thought about WP. Thank you Kor
You sir are the MAN! Thank you very much. Worked perfectly
I know in the end V2
will be awesome but man is it frustrating now.It is not a widget. It is [gd_categories] on the location page.
This reply has been marked as private.Thank you Alex. This looks to have fixed the issue. Have a good day
I am still struggling with blury images on the detail page. They look great on the archive page but bad on the detail because they get enlarged so much. Is there an easy fix for this?
