Sub categories

    Hello
    I was hoping that you could tell me how to hide sub categories on the location page. My goal is to list all 50 states and then when a state is clicked on, it will go to that category and show the cities in that state. I have them built as sub categories of the state. Thank you

    If you mean the display of GD Categories, then you would just need to adjust the GD Categories options to set max subcats to 0.

    Thank you. I will try that. How do I make it work so when they click on the category then they go to a page with all of the sub categories rather than the actual listings in that main category. For example, they are on the location page and all 50 states are listed there. They click on Texas. I want them to get to a page that shows the sub categories of Dallas, Houston etc. When they click on Dallas, they go to the listings in that sub category. I hope that makes sense. Thank you

    You can use the shortcode builder to create it.

    I recommend you try several different versions to see what they do.

    You can use one type on the Location page and another type on the archive page template.

    OK, I will give it a try. Still have no idea how this works but I will figure it out.
