    Hi,

Sorry it was mistake, i meant “Suppose listing has 3an alive days value 365 then the new expire date will be 9/16/2018 (DATE OF RENEW + 365 days).” not “Suppose listing has 3an alive days value 365 then the new expire date will be 9/16/2018 (DATE OF RENEW + 1095 days).”. Thanks for spotting. 🙂

SFTP details not working for me shows me “Authentication failed”. But no worry i have tested if from admin section.

I have tested import & re-import CSV and found all working as expected.
    I have chosen following values.

Alive Days = 365 & Exp Date = 2017-09-16 => AFTER IMPORT SHOWS the Expire Date 2017-09-16 (254 days left)
Alive Days = EMPTY & Exp Date = 2017-09-16 => AFTER IMPORT SHOWS the Expire Date 2017-09-16 (254 days left)
Alive Days = 365 & Exp Date = EMPTY => AFTER IMPORT SHOWS the Expire Date 2018-01-05 (365 days left)

    So all seems correcy

Attached CSV file that i tested to import & re-import.

    Let us know.

    Thanks,
    Kiran

    Hi

Please check now, i can’t recreate problem of two countries in backend listing page.

FYI: Google geocode api returns “Catalunya” as a region/state when searched for “Rambla de l’Hospital, 8”. Catalunya is not in your list of selected regions, so it popup to selected address within selected regions.

    Let us know.

    Thanks,

    Hi Steve,

Your site is running with Payment Manager v1.3.5, which is too old, please update it to recent version 1.4.4.
After updating to recent version checkout will work fine.

    Let us know.

    Happy New Year!

    Thanks,
    Kiran

    Hi There,

Please check now. Problem was you have added add listing shortcode in “add listing” page.
If the page selected as a “Add Listing” in GeoDirectory -> Permalinks -> Add listing page then in that page no need to insert add listing shortcode. Add listing shortcode should be used on custom page.

    Thanks,
    Kiran

    Hi,

OK. I think what has been throwing me off is that when I imported new expiration dates before the alive_days column was added to the CSV file, the alive days all changed automatically in ways that didn’t make sense to me. I presume that was a bug of some sort, or at least an unanticipated result.

< Before the alive_days column was added in export CSV file, the alive days changed automatically, but now it should not change automatically.
Let us provide admin credentials, so i can do test on your site.

To clarify, does that mean that if an expiration date is entered, it will override the alive days?

< No if an expiration date is entered, the alive days does not overridden.
If you have alive_days value are not as per yo expected then just set alive_days value in CSV and re-import.

As I mentioned above, I have one listing with an expiration date of 9/16/2017 and alive days of 1095. Does that mean the listing will not expire for 3 years or will it expire on the expiration date?

< The listing will expire on the day of expiration date. I said early, the alive days are used for only for renew listing purpose.

If listing has an expiration date to 9/16/2017 then it will expire on same day 9/16/2017.
And suppose you are going to renew that listing on 9/16/2017 then the new expiration date will be 9/15/2020 (DATE OF RENEW + 1095 days).
Suppose listing has 3an alive days value 365 then the new expire date will be 9/16/2018 (DATE OF RENEW + 1095 days).

I guess for now if I change expiration dates for import and the packages are all one year then all the alive days should be 365. Does that sound right? These are for unclaimed listings, so renewals are not involved.

< Yes, this is absolutely correct. yes should set value 365 for the alive_days column in CSV.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Thanks,
    Kiran

    Hi Vicki,

    > If I manually set the expiration date, should I also change the alive days to 365 (since all the listings are annual)?
    <
No alive days are used when user renewing the listing. Alive days does not affect the expire date if you set expire date manually. But if you not set expire date then it set expire date by using alive days value.
See my previous comment “FYI: alive_days are used in renew listing process, suppose listing(with 365 alive_days) has 10 days left and going to renew then it will set expiry date after 10 + 365 days from today.”

    > Say I set an expiration date of 1/31/17 and alive days of 365 for a listing to be claimed and the business owner claims the listing on 1/15/17. What happens to expiration and alive days?
    <
Claiming process sets the new expiration date & alive days depends on the package that the business owner selecting during claim process. The claim listing will set new expire date & alive days as per package selected by owner.

    > In your renewal example, say a listing has an expiration of 9/17/17 and the owner renews an annual listing on 9/1/17. Does the expiration date change to 9/17/18 and alive days to 365 + 16, or 381?
    <
As i said in 1st point alive days value does not changed, it just used to count expire date. Alive days value remain 365 and it calculates expire date value with the calculation of REMAINING DAYS + ALIVE DAYS when user going to renew listing.

    Hope you clear now.
