Hello Guust, i was able to change Region to State by going to settings and updating the name there. My problem though is that i also want to translate the description under the field Region and it simply doesnt work. I ve found that the text appears on the location manager language file and i ve inserted the translation but its not working.

P.S. I did translate Region both on the core language file and on the location manager language file, but it didnt work that way.

I have one more question. Is it possible to display the map behind the No records found message? Right now i am getting a grey background that has the Google logo, zoom, street view, and Satellite/Map options of the map but no actual map.

Yes, i understand that. I have set the option to ask for permission. However, under advanced search there is an option called “Redirect to nearest location (on first time load users will be auto geolocated and redirected to nearest geolocation found)” and i was hopping that this would make the map zoom in in the location of the user after he or she agrees to be geolocated. Is this not possible at the moment or is there a way to accomplish this?

Hello, i contacted Avada support and the issue lies on the Avada compatibility file that geodirectory uses. Here is the code that you can use to update that file for next releases:

function gd_avada_search_filter( $query ) {
if ( geodir_is_page(‘search’) && is_search() && $query->is_search ) {
$query->set(‘post_type’, ‘any’);
}
return $query;
}

If you notice there is an extra condition and that solves the issue i had.
