Hi Tim,
Thanks for your post. Have you installed the GD-Recaptcha addon? it definitely sounds like you’d need this now https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/gd-recaptcha/
Thanks!
Hi Jay,
Thanks for your reply. Sorry, not sure what you mean by this. Could you share a URL or some screenshots?
Thanks!
Hi Axel Duval,
Please share the URL of the site in question so we can take a better look at it and also WP temp admin access to your site. You can post the details here using the private reply option below.
Hi luca,
Not sure what you mean by this. Could you share screenshots or a link?
Thanks!
Hi luca,
Thanks for your reply. You can correct that by using the custom CSS code below. The code may differ on your site so if it doesn’t work, you’ll have to share your Website URL here. Insert into GD > Design > Scripts > Custom Style CSS.
.geodir_category_list_view li.geodir-gridview h3 { white-space:normal!important; }Hi Luca,
Thanks for your post. Could you share your Website URL here so that we could check on it? You can use the private reply option below.
Thanks!
Hi Hui Ling Tan,
Thanks for your post. I’d like you to know that the “Get Directions” will work for both Open Street Map and Google map. As for comparing both maps, you might want to check out this article http://geoawesomeness.com/why-would-you-use-openstreetmap-if-there-is-google-maps/ .
Thanks!
Hi Shane,
There is already a built-in Google Analytic feature for GDv1 as explained here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-core-plugin-google-analytics/ . The Google Analytic Addon will only work on GDv2 and which is why you can’t install it. As for the “Google Recaptcha”, I’ve already installed it for you.
As for the theme, installing it will not automatically make your Website look like the demo here https://wpgeo.directory/geotravel/ . I’d suggest that you start setting up your GD site following the instructions I’ve shared earlier. Then slowly we will guide you through achieving your desired look on your Website.
Thanks!
Hi Adrian,
Thanks for your post. Unfortunately, that’s not possible and here is the section of the documentation that explains what can be done using the Custom Google Map addon https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/custom-google-maps/#intro .
Thanks!
Hi Wholistic,
Thanks for your post. For your information, the beta versions will only work on GDv2. Please share WP temp admin access to your site so we can take a better look. You can post the details here using the private reply option below.

Hi Angela Beale,
Thanks for your reply. By default, every registered user information is captured in WordPress > Users. Also with userswp, you can customize the registration form by adding custom fields to capture additional information from your users. Then, you can export your users information using this method https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-export-wordpress-users-data-to-a-csv-file/ for marketing purposes.
Thanks!
Hi jay,
You can also try using custom CSS code to force it to fit the image containers. Insert into GD > Design > Scripts > Custom Style CSS.
