Hi Gerald,
I’d like you to know that there are two ways to achieve this and it is explained in this section of the documentation https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/how-do-i-change-place-and-places/. Could you please share WP admin access to your Website and FTP access to your server so that we could check on the translation files? You can post the details here using the private reply option below.
Thanks!
October 10, 2016 at 11:04 am in reply to: Different side banner in Different place Category. #280442Hi Sandeep,
Unfortunately, this requires customization which falls outside the scope of what we offer for support. However, you can try using 3rd party “Custom Sidebar” plugins a little bit of custom coding to achieve what you needed there. Well, let us know if you need anything else.
Thanks!
Hi Jasper,

Hi Clinton,
Thanks for your reply. I’ll try to answer your remaining questions accordingly.
#1 Could you please replicate the said issue or probably share your WP admin credentials to your Website so we can take a better look at the “Tab Issue”? Also, please tell us how to display the tabs so we won’t mess up other page options.
#2 I think you are referring to the “Custom Fields”, check out this section for more info on how to display custom fields on your listings and detail listings page. https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#common
#3 Sorry, I’m still not getting this. Do you think you can share some screenshots for this issue?
#4 I’d need to see the backend, do you think you can provide WP admin credentials?
#5 You can use this custom CSS code to increase the size of the thumbnails on mobile screens. Insert into GD > Design > Script > Custom Style CSS.
@media only screen and (max-width: 500px) { .geodir-custom-post-gallery { width: 50%; } }
#6 Unfortunately, we don’t provide hands-on assistance with modifying theme, as this falls outside the scope of what we offer for support. You’ll have to contact your theme author about this.
#7 Looks okay now, not getting it on this page http://usherinapp.com/usherin/cmtsanjose/ and here’s the screenshot for your reference http://prntscr.com/crz5ob
#8 We’ll need WP admin credentials to check further. Also, please list down the steps to recreate the issue.
Thanks!
Hi there,
I’m sorry for the late response. I’ll try to answer your remaining questions.
#1 Use this custom CSS
.fusion-header-wrapper { position: absolute; }
#3 We would require WP admin access to your Website to check on the code.
#4 Sorry, I’m not getting this, could you please provide a screenshot of it?
#5 You need to have SSL activated on your Website in order for the “Near Me” functionality to work. Please check out this reply and see if it helps https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/the-function-of-nearme/#post-256154
#6 Looks like you already had this map on the sidebar http://prntscr.com/crys1o . You’ll just have to use the correct category image to display the village icon on the map.

Hi Gerald,
I’d like you to know that you can remove the favourite button, review and stars using custom CSS. Check out this documentation https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/
As for displaying custom fields, you can set to display in the listing page using the “Show in What Locations” option as mentioned in this section of the documentation https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#common
Thanks!
Hi Gerald,
Unfortunately, this requires custom customization to the core files, which falls outside the scope of what we offer for support. At the meantime, we have this “Advanced Search” addon https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/advanced-search-filters/ that gives more advanced search functionality to your directory that I think you might like it. Check out the demo here. https://wpgeo.directory/
Thanks!
