The developers always consider adding feature requests that are popular with members.
I vote for it too 🙂
As well, in the same spirit, as being able to change IN to NEAR in search query (as requested here for example)
Ok, thanks for your answers
Regards
Many many thanks Kiran! It works perfectly. We’re very grateful 😉
Thanks,
I understand that it’s outside what support can do. Unfortunately for us, this feature is a main part of our business logic. So just a last question about this:
Isn’t it possible to force the permalink structure for a specific post ?
I tried this way but it still redirect to full path:
/** * Trying to overwrite permalink structure for certain events. * Doesn't work for now, still redirect to '/%country%/%region%/%city%/%postname%/' * * @param $permalink_structure * @param $post_type * * @return string */ function geodir_regional_event_permalink_structure( $permalink_structure, $post_type ) { global $gd_post; if ( ! empty( $gd_post ) && $gd_post->ID == 72 ) { $permalink_structure = '/%country%/%region%/%postname%/'; } return $permalink_structure; } add_filter( 'geodir_post_permalink_structure', 'geodir_regional_event_permalink_structure', 10, 2 );
Hi, it’s already activated. But the error here is not a 404, it’s a 400 (bad request).
(Just to be clear I don’t really have a bug, I am looking for a solution as you can read it in my first message)
Thanks
When I try to delete city field in events table, the permalink is rewritten with /name-of-region/%city%/event-name, and it produces a 400 Bad Request error. Couldn’t it be redirect to /name-of-region/event-name ?

I’m sorry if my post isn’t clear enough.
We want to add custom fields to locations (and cities in particular), not to listings.
For now we only have a field city_desc, an image field, and some seo fields.
We would like to add more fields.
And after looking into the source code, there are no hooks provided to achieve such a thing.
If it’s not possible at all, we’re interested in a workaround…
March 25, 2020 at 1:00 pm in reply to: Auto populate event address field from selected linked place address #536725Great, do you have any idea of a release date for this feature ?
I suppose this could be achieved in a separate js file by getting select2 selected value and then doing an ajax request with place ID to get details…
Any hints or advices about that ?
I just found the reason why it wasn’t working.
