Hello, what shortcode are you using?
It should be something like this
[gd_popular_post_view list_sort=high_review]more info here
http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/core-shortcodes/Hello,
– “Welcome” is in the .po file inside /geodirectory
– “Best of” is in the .po file inside /geodirectory
– “based on”, “review” and “reviews” are in the .po file inside /geodirectory
– “No Photo” is in the .po in /geodir-review_rating_manager/geodir-reviewrating-languages/
– “Location” is in the .po inside geodir_location_manager/geodir-location-languages
– About “You can use BBCodes to format your content”: are you using BBpress? That notices come from there, try to go in the bbcodes section, find BBCodes New Topic/Reply Notice and deactivate that.
This reply has been marked as private.Hi, personally I’d go with categories, so when going into a category page I will see all the listings/events for that category. Then I’d go for the related listing/events widget (inside the detail page) based on tag (if you’re website is using tags) but this could be misleading (tags need to be the same across the listings) so you could use “by categories” again.
The list of all the available shortcodes is here
http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/core-shortcodes/here for events
http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/event-manager-shortcodes/If it works on firebug and not on the css, try to add the !important to the value in css, example
background:#ffffff !important;
Hi you can disable the feature in your package, under Prices and Payment/ Price tab or ou can use the css
a.b_sendtofriend { display:none; }
Hello again, you should check, in the pre-existent listings, to have the option “Enable discussion” enabled. You can find at the bottom of each listing, in the editor (see attach)
Hi again Eric, to disable that (and other items too) you can go in Geodirectory/Design and then go in the Navigation tab. Once there you will find plenties options,including the one to disable the Add Listing link
March 20, 2015 at 12:49 pm in reply to: By default list level 1 categories, then subcategories when in that level. #34689Hello Eric, this is not natively possible. You can however use some other widget like this one https://wordpress.org/plugins/list-custom-taxonomy-widget/
It will let you choose what custom category to show and will include child categoriesHello Karl, have you first created a menu in WordPress ( Appearances/Menu) and then assigned it to GD in Geodirectory/Design/Navigation ?
March 20, 2015 at 12:29 pm in reply to: ReferenceError: Can't find variable: geodir_advanced_search_js_msg #34687Hello, please post url and login details in a private reply, thanks
Hello, the login box GD uses is in a standalone page, but it shares the same WordPress database so you can use any third part login/register plugin in order to customize it.
If you’re planning to do so, you can then redirect the GD login to the other page you will eventually create, more info here
http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/redirecting-the-login-page/Try to re-set your username/password and re-save it in the Auto Updates section.
The other issue could be because you need to update the pluginsHi, not tested but the above values are inside geodirectory_advance_search_function.php file in /plugins/geodir_advance_search_filters
around row 1348.These will be override when a new GD version is released, I’ll suggest to the dev team to eventually include these in the .po file.
Hello, you can go in the Place settings, and in the Custom field fields, on the right, expand the website address field and enable the Show on listing page
