Another question. How do I disable the notifications when a new location is added?

    hi,

you can go to GD > Notifications > Site Bcc Options > Listing published

    and set to NO.

That will stop sending the site admin a notification about new listing submission.

    Thanks

Re: “Yes. I save them. But when I refresh the page, they are not there.”

    Any news about this?

Attached is a screen shot of the “Save” button I hit to add a field. But it does not seem to be saving.

Please see the two messages above about the unresolved issue.

After resolving that, please be aware of this message “Downloading update from https://wpgeodirectory.com/download/geodir_location_manager_1.3.0.zip…

Login details for GeoDirectory failed! Please check GeoDirectory>Auto Updates and that your membership is active. Internal Server Error”

I understand I have a subscription that should allow these updates. Why am I getting this message?

If you have the login issue and you’re using the email, try to use username instead. Also, please run “Clear all GD version numbers” in the GD Tools

I was logged in by the username. I cleared the GD version numbers, but the update still failed.

And what about the other issue, i.e. unable to add new place form fields? (See above for details).

Try to re-set your username/password and re-save it in the Auto Updates section.
The other issue could be because you need to update the plugins

Re: “Try to re-set your username/password”
I changed the password of my WordPress admin account.

Re: “re-save it in the Auto Updates section.”
I pasted this same password into the field in the Auto Updates section.

What’s my next step to update the plugins?

    “Try to re-set your username/password”
You must use the username/password of your GeoDirectory account, not WP.

Could you give us your login details so we can eventually check?
    Thanks

I updated the GeoDirectory plugin in the plugin section of Wordpres. However, I was unable, again, to update the GeoDirectory location manager. Please see the attached screen shot. Are you sure my subscription is active from your end?
