Can you share an example of what you think is “more elegant and intuitive”?
Divi, which you are using and all Elegantthemes products have their own settings that overwrite what’s in Settings > Reading of WordPress.

You need to enable settings of UsersWP so that it shows favorites too.
UsersWP > Add-ons > GeoDirectory > CPT favorites in profile: select Places.
and then
UsersWP > Profile > Choose the tabs to display in profile : select Favorites.

In WPML there should be an option to show untranslated listings in other languages, but you should ask WPML support to make sure it will work as you want it.
This can’t be considered a GeoDirectory support request. The issue here is with WPML.

if you are using the Addon for pricing and franchise it seems to have an option to not charge them again for more listings.
Correct, but you cannot limit the number of Franchisees when enabled.
Why are these listings linked together like translations?
If you used the duplicate tool of WPML, that’s what it does.
If you don’t want the listing to be a translation do not duplicate, create a new listing instead.

License keys are only needed to take advantage of auto updates. Once linceses are expired, they no longer provide any benefit.
After the membership is expired, we no longer provide access to download links because they are being constantly updated.
Only active members can have that.
Of course you had the right to download the latest version available before your membership expired and keep on using it.
If you didn’t do that let us know and we will send you the files one last time.

sorry about that, I saw your email and I’m convinced that I answered, but I find no trace of my answer so here it is again:
1 no GeoDirectory pricing manager works on a pay per listing model only. 1 payment = 1 listing
That is something I’ve asked to our developers though and I hope we’ll see it sooner than later.
2 The payment is taken at the end of the process, right before being published. If they leave the listing page before completing and they come back later, they’ll find the information added originally saved.
3 No, that requires a membership plugin and some customization.
4 You can create a listing type without addresses, but they won’t be mixed with listings with address. Or you can ask to those listing owners to only enter the city where they operate as address.

“952404 air ride food grade”
which doesn’t exist…
