you can copy the entire class of the loginbox widget in your theme functions.php, rename the class and the function, plus add the snippet to add your social login. Now register the new widget.
You will have a 2nd login box widget to use and updates will not cause any troubles.

Just FYI, the neighbourhood system is being totally rebuilt as we speak. A new version of it should be availble later next month and neighbourhoods will become just like any other locations (country, region or city).

GeoDirectory registration doesn’t send an activation email. Users are immediataly logged in, right after registration.
You must be using an alternative registration system and we don’t provide support for anything but GD.

the social importer will add an update to your facebook page (if setup to do so) for every new listing approved.
For twitter I’m almost sure you could find a plugin that allows to share a link on twitter for every new custom post type added.

to sort listings in listing pages alphabetically, go to Place Settings (or any other CPT) >> Sorting Option, add the title field from left to right box (click on it), double click on it once in the right box and set A-Z as the default sort option: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#sorting
If you are talking about the home page widgets, that can be done in Appearance >> Widgets in each widget options.

what are you using to “find replace to right domain”.
If you are doing that with notepad or a text editor, you will break all serialized strings. That’s why your widgets and menus are gone.
You should use a tool like this: https://interconnectit.com/products/search-and-replace-for-wordpress-databases/

We created it as the example for the tutorial where we exaplain how to create a custom payment gateway.
We used payfast because a member begged us to do so.

Add Listing the drop down shows Places and the new Custom Post I created both but I just want to show the Custom Post and not the default “Places”
Just go to GeoDirectory >> Design >> Navigation >> User Dashboard Post Type Navigation Settings
and disable the CPT “place” from everywhere.
For the “popular places” text in the home page, that I guess it is the title of a widget. Just go to Appearance >> Widgets >> GD Home Content Section and either remove the widget or change the title and its settings.
