Thank you! 🙂
Hi,
1) you still had a listing in draft. The CPT must be empty to go away. I deleted it and now places no longer appears
2) you disable that option in Geodirectory >> Advance Search >> Enable Near autocompleter. I’ve enabled and it works, however the server is very slow. I’d suggest an upgrade. Response time makes it barely usable.
3) That has to be changed in GeoDirectory >> Event Settings >> Default event filter.
Thanks
p.s. you should update all plugins and the theme.
Hi,
that’s pretty strange. Could you please provide admin credentials? We’d need to a have a look at your settings too.
Thanks
Hi,
this has been fixed in the latest version of GDF, did you update the theme?
Thanks
You are welcome 🙂
Hi,
please provide a link and admin credentials and we will have a look. Most of the time you won’t need a full compatiblity plugin. Most of the theme can be made compatible via GeoDirectory >> Theme Compatibility options.
Let us know,
Thanks
HI,
please read here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/server-requirements/
GeoDirectory on top of WordPress requires some CPU and Memory to perform well.
I don’t think a shared hosting plan like that would be a good choice.
Thanks
Hi,
1. there is no Watch List feature.
2. Yes it does, Paypal and Stripe both support recurring payments.
3. No it doesn’t, the email sent is one. You can set how many days in advance to send it.
Thanks
I’m really sorry, you are right again! 🙁
I checked with the developers and it looks like we totally missed this.
At the moment the only way to translate the CPT names is to add them manually.
#1 edit GeoDirectory file db-languages.php to add the names for example
__('MYCPTName', 'geodirectory');#2 go to Theme and plugins localization and tick GeoDirectory and scan (button is at the bottom)
In the next version, we will scan them (like custom fields) via GD Tools. This adds new custom strings from the DB in the db-languages.php file that can scanned by WPML or poedit to update the existing translation file with the new strings.
Let me know if you are able to do this, or if you need our help.
Thanks
Hi,
that is the way it works. You can’t have a cumulative check out for multilingual listings. Each submission is treated separately.
In addition, the admin must create the link between the various translations from the back end. GD doesn’t create the link between translations automatically.
Thanks
Hi,
you have this error on that page:
You have included the Google Maps API multiple times on this page. This may cause unexpected errors.
http://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?sensor=false
Line 82This is normally due to another plugin or the theme including the Google Maps API as well as GeoDirectory. Most themes and plugins that include the Gmap API also provide an option to disable it. If they don’t, it’s normally possible to unenqueue the call to the API adding a code snippet via functions.php of the active theme.
If you can’t find this, please provide admin credentials in a private reply and we will look into it for you.
Thanks
please try this in your custom css:
.gd-location-switcher .sub-menu { margin: 0 0 0 -58px; }Let us know how you went.
Thanks
Hi,
if you use settings in GD >> Design >> Navigation, those links will be added after the theme main navigation.
The only way to change this is to add those links as custom links via appearance >> menu and remove them from GD settings. (everyone, but the location switcher that can only be the last.)
Thanks
Hi,
please add this to GeoDirectory >> Design >> Scripts >> Custom CSS
#breadcrumbs > li:first-child { margin: 0 5px 0 0; }Thanks
Hi,
I’m sorry for that, for the CPT name you need to install the translation management extension of WPML too.
See image attached.
Thanks
