Hi Johnny,
please check now. I just did unapprove and re-approved it.
You shouldn’t have any more problems like this in the future now that the tables are fixed.
Let us know,
Thanks
Hi,
we fixed that too.
Thanks for the heads up!
Ok, we tracked down the problem and it is Yoast SEO rewriting the canonical URL of locations. When the plugin is disabled the canonical URLs of locations are correct. The developers are looking into a solution.
We’ll keep you posted.
Thanks
Hi,
I was able to see it by opening a new browser. I’ve flagged this for the developer.
Not sure either where the problem is coming from. I can’t recreate it in any of our demos.
Thanks
Actually, most of the GD dashboard pages don’t work regardless if the functionality plugin is active or not.
I went all the way to disable all plugins and the dashboard still didn’t work.
The only thing that fixed it was switching to a different theme.
Stiofan will let us know if it is something fixable or not.
Thanks
There is definitely something wrong in 1 or more listings of the reflexology category. If uncheck that category the map works fine.
I’ve tried to validate it’s json and there are no errors, but i believe there are 1 or more wrong lat and long coordinates. Do you have the same problem in the live website?
Once I enalbe the functionality plugin I get all sort of errors in the back end. Example:
TypeError: maincat_obj.find(…).chosen is not a function
http://dev.corespirit.co.uk/wp-admin/post.php?post=492828&action=edit
Line 1152I’ll ask to the developers to see what we can do. We may need some help from the theme author’s too.
We’ll keep you posted.
Thanks for your patience
Hi,
please provide admin credentials so that we can have a look at settings.
Thanks
I’m not sure deleting w3tc was enough. I think it leaves few folders/files in wp-content. Could you please provide ftp credentials or delete anything w3tc related and let me know?
Thanks
Hi,
I see it correctly from here. See iamge attached.
Not sure what is going on…
There must be a problem with your sessions.
I’m flagging this for Stiofan.
Thanks
You have a very old payment manager with the latest core plugin. All GeoDirectory add-ons must be up to date too.
Please update and test again, if the problem persist we will look into it more.
Let us know,
Thanks
Hi,
I’ve ask to the developers to look into it and let us know as soon as possible.
Thanks
Hi,
can I disable and delete w3 total cache? It is not compatible with GeoDirectory.
I also need to activate/deactivate other plugins to see what’s going on. Something is preventing the map from working.
I haven’t even tried activating the 15Zine Functionality plugin yet. Removing all other errors could solve that too.
Let us know,
Hi,
1) trailing slashes are added by WordPress itself. There is probably some way to remove them, but I would stay away from it, you could badly mess up GD permalinks. https://wordpress.org/support/topic/remove-trailing-slash-1?replies=6#post-2514126 We are not going to provide extra support for this unless +50% of members request it. Trailing slash are totally fine from our point of view.
Canonical URLs are correct: http://wpgeo.directory/restaurants/
<link rel="canonical" href="http://wpgeo.directory/restaurants/" />There is no way Google will flag any GD page as duplicate.
2) I’ve flagged this for the developers. We’ll let you know soon if there is a reason. I agree the canonical URL should be the same as the page.
Thanks
Hi,
You shouldn’t use capital letters in html variables. Guest_No shoud be guest_no.
Once you fixed that, if you use the correct variables it will work:
Your problem is that the theme search form is picking wrong values and I don’t know where it is picking them from:
They should be: 0-25,25-50,50-100,100-150,150-200,200+ as per your settings instead in the search form you have 0-10,10-30,30-50 and so on.
You also have a wrong setting in GeoDirectory >> Permalinks. You changed Listing url prefix to backyards, that is what you’d do if you didn’t create a new CPT with the same and you wanted to use places as backyards. I’ve changed that and it’s nothing major.
Unfortunately the search form of that theme is unique to that theme (it is not part of our plugin) and you MUST request for support to the theme author for it: http://themeforest.net/item/sky-wordpress-listings-theme/10061836
Thank you
