Yes a link to the /location/ page would reset to location to everywhere which is an alternative.
The map not working was probably due to the GD Booster issue that is fixed now.
The plugin clashing was PrettPhoto and we had to exclude it’s script from being concatenated.
Just to make sure it is clear, WordPress is an open source project with hundreds of thousands of themes and plugins.
There is no possible way to create something as complex as GD and its add-ons that works flawlessly with 100% of them…
You should adjust your expectactions and be aware that conflicts between themes and plugins, being built by different developers, are always possible and you’ll keep on finding them.

When I find my test listing through a search it has no image associated with it, just an empty white squareDid you add an image to that listing?
If not, you can assign a default image for all listings without an image in: Design >> Listings >> Upload listing no image
Or per category, In CPT Name >> Categories than edit the category and assign a default image. That will be used if any listing of that category is submitted without a picture.

The only logout link provided by GD is in the loginbox widget, if you have that anywhere you would have a log out link.
Other wise you could easily add one anywhere you want.

It could be both.
Responsiveness is managed via Media queries in css files. They are usually at the bottom and start with
@media screen and (max-width: 240px)
GD has it’s on css files and GDF too.

no the plugin redirects to the home page (or the add listing page), it doesn’t provide a personalized page for each user.
It would have to be custom created.

if you have the advance search add-on installed and someone start typing in the “Search for” it will auto suggest results from listings, tags and categories.
Without user intervention it will not suggest anything.

GeoDirectory only adds a ribbon for New listings and for listings that have the featured status.
It doesn’t add any ribbon for all other listings.
You don’t even have the necessary class to hack something like that with CSS into your theme.
You could that for CPTs, not for categories.
However this is a customization request. Not part of support provided here.

the widget only show 1 listing per slide, not 3.
The plugin is open source, so you can modify the widget to show whatever you like, but that is considered modifying the plugin (customization) and not part of the support provided here.
