This is not being worked on and it’s not an easy mod, because both the map and list are using the same query. Having different result would require 2 queries and that would make loading time of the page at least twice as long.
This would require a customization and it’s something we are not interested in doing.

that is normal, because you are trying to re-install instead of updating.
You should either auto update via plugin update screen or overwrite old plugin via FTP.
