That is not feasible with css only. You need to create a custom function to take that DIV only and move it out of the parent div.

Was the dev server a MT grid as well?
Because that would make their claim even more ludicrous…
Another point that makes their claim totally silly is the fact that only 1 of the CPT is loading slow, even though all of them are managed using the same code.
BTW, today I checked again and I don’t see any slow loading time again.

GeoBold is a Genesis child theme and was built to be 100% GD compatible.
Given that Genesis originally isn’t 100% GD compatible, you must install the Genesis compatibility pack.

That allows to change all wordings of predifined text strings.
Not sure this will be enough.
In any case, if you modify core files, after any update you will lose your changes and you should always avoid that.
All functions in there can be modified in your functions.php file, because they are all called by actions, so if you remove the original action, than you can copy the function that was being called by the action you removed, rename it, modify it and call it with a new action replacing the original one.

I’ve just tested again and I don’t see such long loading time on any of your dashboard pages. Took 7 secs for Businesses page with cache cleared and 2 secs after browser cached the page.
Given that MediaTemple is blaming this on GD (but in my opinion GD has nothing to do with it), please ask them to give you precise details about the cause they might have found, in case they are not able to point out the precise reason, I’d suggest to move to a better hosting provider.
I’m a MediaTemple client since 2009 and I’m in the process now of moving all my websites to digital ocean, because since MediaTemple was aquired by GoDaddy, their service quality has dropped even lower than it was before GoDaddy came and it was already quite low back then.

if it’s gd_free the CPT the code above obviously will not work. It will work for gd_place.
For gd_free you should use:
.single-gd_free .geodir-tab-head > dd:nth-child(6),.single-gd_place .geodir-tab-head > dd:nth-child(8) { display: none; }This should work if you have the regular tabs in it.
If it doesn’t pls provide a link of a page where you want to hide all elements and we will give you correct css for your case.

geodirectory_template_actions.php isn’t a template, so it can’t be moved.
To avoid losing work after updates, customization of these files should be avoided.
To change text on any page, the translation files should be use.

I’ve just tested on our demo to see if it was a GD bug or a possible conflict with another plugin and on our demo it works as expected.
We would need to deactivate all non-GD plugins to see if the problem vanish. Can we?
