HI,
possibly with Custom Post Type addon you could create a classifieds CPT and using custom fields you could definitely create classifieds, but they would still require an address to be specified, which could be limited to the city name.
Thx
that is possible.
You need to add category as Advance filter. Go to GD >> Places settings >> Double click on Field Category >> SCroll down to Advanced sort & filters options >> enable Include this field in filter.
Once enabled you can go to advance search tab, add it to your filters and adjust settings.
While for event the search for Dates filter is available by default in the advance search tab.

definitely no lasting damages…
Absolutely worth a try.Let us know,
ThxHi Adam,
at the moment there isn’t really anything that would allow a business owner to create a pricing table. You could try building that with custom fields to get the data and css to order it as a table in the front end, but I’m not 100% sure you can make exactly what you want without a customization.
Hi,
if wordpress is not set to organize photos into month/year folders, images are not attached to listings at all, they don’t disappear.
This is something very very strange… It could be due to another plugin conflict, or some kind of error in the database.
Did you remember what you were doing right before the image disappeared?
In any case we would need to have a look at the website, wordpress dashboard, FTP and cpanel for the database to find out what’s really going on.
Could you please send us links and credentials in a private reply?
Thx
Hi,
1. With “recurring” (Paypal Only) payments is there any checking in GD that the payment has been made by Paypal?Yes, that’s why the expiration date is set for each new payment. If IPN returns that payment failed the listing expires (downgrading or going to draft as per your settings)
2. With “recurring” (Paypal Only) payments if the customer hasn’t cancelled their Paypal payment why do they need to renew their listing? How do they renew their listing if the payment is already made by Paypal?
They don’t need to renew their listings, paypal and GeoDirectory will work in the background automatically. 1st it will try to get the amount from the user’s paypal balance, if it fails it will charge the credit card associated to the paypal account, it that fails too, paypal IPN will report failure and the listing expires. (downgrading or going to draft as per your settings)
It is good practice to send a notification whenever charging someone’s account for several reasons. To remind him about it, to give him the chance to make sure he’s got money in his account or credit card. Or to give him a chance to delete the account before it autorenews. (these are the main reason for which we got complains on GeoTheme.com, because we were not sending expiration notification).
3. With “recurring” (Paypal Only) payments if there is NO automatic checking of the payment being made by Paypal within GD then surely the site owner MUST be responsible for terminating the listing?
I think this is answered already.
Let us know,
Thx
Hi Oocal,
yes, that’s been reported and it will be fixed in next release.
Please read here for quick fix.

Thank you!
Hi,
the like button counts the likes received from that page on your website.
This doesn’t increment likes on your facebook page or viceversa. They are totally unlinked.
To display numbers of users that likes your facebook page, you need to use another tool called like box. https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/like-box-for-pages
You can find the code here and use it in in a text widget in any widget area.
Thx
Hi and sorry for the delay in replying to you.
Can you please send us a link to your website and wp admin credentials in a private reply?
This normally happenes when either the theme or the child theme are uploaded within an extra folder, but I need to check if this is the case.
Let us know,
Thx
Well that should be an easy fix. I’ll ask Stiofan to apply it for next release.
Thx
I understand, but that is the simplest way too.
Another option would be to bulk delete all listings and reupload them via CSV with the new images names, if you have them already in a CSV file.
In any case for you we are talking about less than 10 images…
link and wp admin credentials please? I’ve tested on both Enfold site I have and it works…
Let me know,
Thx
Hi Purpleedge,
I think there is a little confusion. With that code you remove and modify the listing title from the front end template, not the meta title which is in the header of the theme. Is that what you want to do?
Example: if you do that, with this listing you would modify “Crown Fountain” in the front end on top of the picture gallery only.
Depending on the theme used, to modify the meta title, you have to apply a filter to wp_title in your functions.php, or edit the code producing the title directly on your theme’s header.php.
Here there are some good exmaples : http://www.webdevdoor.com/wordpress/custom-wordpress-meta-titles/
Let me know if I this is what you were looking for.
Thx
Hi,
that’s a php warning caused by a little error with Yoast SEO Plugin.
It shouldn’t prevent your site from working, nor even appear in a live site.
If you share a link and wp admin credentials in a private reply, I’ll make sure to make it disappear for you.
The fix will be in next version, which we will probably release in the next few days.
Thx
