Same here, I’ve tried reviewing on the site of the other user and never was I able to reproduce the error.
Where you actually able to see the problem or only your user did?
Hi,
I’m terribly sorry, I missed that part of the question.I’ve just checked on our demo and can confirm it is a bug. I passed the task to a developer who’s going to fix this as soon as possible.
We have a new release of GDF almost ready, we will add this in it.
Thx
July 9, 2014 at 12:45 am in reply to: Registration question regarding email field in Add listing #7859Hi,
1) the user may want to use an email address to register that is not the email address to contact the business he’s submitting.
Imagine a yelp type of website where customers of restaurants list places they visit to review them. The user email would be forced as contact for the restaurant.
2) custom programming job. You should show the pricing table only to logged in user.
3) would be the same.
Thx
yes you can, in Settings >> Discussion >> Users must be registered and logged in to comment
Vikas is looking into it. Very strange case, I wasn’t able to recreate this so far…
Hi,
GDF offers an integrated mobile menu that it will never be compatible with Uber Menu.
The only way to use ubermenu with GDF would be to move a copy of header.php from the main theme into the child theme and modify the code to remove everything related to GDF mobile menu and use uber menu instead.
Just FYI, I too used to be a fan of Ubermenu until I discover that it adds about 150 query to your database for each and every page load.
Hi,
I don’t think I understand 100% the problem, is a widget in the sidebar that is causing the problem or the tabbed content?
Can you provide a link and wp-admin credentials in a private reply to actually see the problem?
I can’t seem to replicate it in our demo…
Let me know.
Thnx
Hi,
personally I think Google is a bit smarter than that.
1) if ever google was to find the other URL, the breadcrumb makes it clear that it’s the same page, assigned to different taxonomies.
2) google will only index the page that is actually linked somewhere in your website.
This is indexed (because there is a link in the website taking the bot over that page) :
http://wpgeo.directory/attractions/united-states/new-york/new-york/landmark/central-park/
These are not indexed (because there are no links in the website taking the bot over that pages) :
http://wpgeo.directory/attractions/united-states/new-york/landmark/central-park/
http://wpgeo.directory/attractions/united-states/landmark/central-park/
http://wpgeo.directory/attractions/landmark/central-park/
http://wpgeo.directory/attractions/central-park/
https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=site:http:%2F%2Fwpgeo.directory%2Fattractions%2Fcentral-park%2F
In fact, if you create a sitemap.xml automatically with any tool (behaving like bots do), that page will come up only once…
Anyway, adding 301s wouldn’t be a bad idea just to avoid confusing users about potential issues of duplicate pages.
Thx
Have you tried with 1 of the plugin forcing email verification? I’m not 100% sure it will work out of the box, but it is worth trying.
This is the 1st of the list: https://wordpress.org/plugins/dm-confirm-email/
There are many other…
Thx
you are the second person reporting this today, on the other website I couldn’t recrate it.
Question, was the user logged in or reviewing as a guest?
I’m flagging this for Vikas.
Thanks,
Hi,
look at the breadcrumb: United Kingdom > Uk > Uk >
You can’t add listings without address and to wrong locations.
If you don’t know the address you should get it by dragging the marker in the right location.
Thx
Unless the location is the first thing created with that name, the slugs will be appended with a 1, and then a 2 etc.
If you create the location before the category, location would be illinois and category would be illinois-2
That is what he ment…

Hi,
if a consideerable number of members give a +1 to the idea, we will definitely consider it.
Thx
This reply has been marked as private.Hi,

I just tested and left a review in a listing (link in next private reply) and it worked.
