I’m acutally surprised that Jeff didn’t convert GT Vouchers yet to work with GD as he did for his other simpler plugins.
He must be busy working on other projects, but I wouldn’t see why it wouldn’t do it when possible.
There is no option to disable the Get Directions option or to use only KM, but you can hide it with css by adding this to GeoDirectory >> Design >> Scripts >> Custom css :
#detail_page_map_canvas_fromAddress, #directions { display: none; }
Thanks

Best way is to always keep an updated back up of your SQL database.
You can make that from cpanel or phpmyadmin. There are also wordpress plugin that allow to do that…
Thx
Hi,
I think the need for template name change is non-sense. That’s obviously a bug, the name shouldn’t change and I’ll make sure with next version this isn’t necessary.
Thx
excellent… glad we find the solution…
glad we solved…
To remove the link from your menu go to GeoDirectory > Design > Navigation and uncheck the option.
To add it back, make sure you don’t add simply yoursite.com/add-listing, but add the right variable at the end.
yoursite.com/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_place for places
yoursite.com/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_event for eventsand so on
Thx
Hi,
the new multilocations include shortcodes for the location switcher:
this is the one used in the menu:
[geodir_location_tab_switcher]
this is a drill down location switcher similar to GeoTheme.
[geodir_location_switcher]
Please let us know if they work for you…
Thx
Hi Zeb,
without the add listing link I couldn’t access the sign in form and test the redirect.
I’ve deleted wp super cache, tested and it is redirecting correctly. I just double checked.
The only way to make the sign up form redirect correctly is using the right link to access it.
Let me explain you, if you click on yoursite.com/add-listing that is a wrong link that GD will never make appear anywhere, after registering it will redirect you to the same link yoursite.com/add-listing. That will not make the packages appear and the form will not work.
To make sure that you are redirected to the right form, the user must click on a link with the right variables, so that he is redirected the same link after registration.
The right link for places is yoursite.com/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_place
If this part of the link is missing. ?listing_type=gd_place It will not work.
As far as the efficiency of our support, let me remind you that we reply to all question within 24 hours and we can’t provide an immidiate solution for all problems, especially if you trying to use the plugin in an unorthodox way.
Thanks

Hi,
you should read the post completely and double check your assumption before considering them the thruth.
Quote from previous post:
Practical example: http://www.yelp.com/ default location = San Francisco
If I switch city and I click on Miami, the Logo and home link will not take you back to San Francisco (because it would be illogical I repeat). To go back to San Francisco, you must click back on the San Francisco link.
New examples:
Yellowpages forces geolocation… (not a very good example)
Tripadvisor: If I search for a location like New York you are directed here, http://www.tripadvisor.com/Tourism-g28953-New_York-Vacations.html if you click on logo you are directed to an home with info only from new york: check image attached or test for yourself.
Airbnb uses a static home page. You can emulate that by simply not using GD home page as home page of your website and use any static page you want.
Thanks
This reply has been marked as private.Hi,
the theme for documentations has been installed today. Guust has started writing users documentation, while Vikas Stiofan and I will write developers docs.
Today we started releasing a set of function that will make GD layout adapt to Enfold html. https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/enfold-compatibility-code-please-test/
For anyone curious that is a good starting point to start understanding how template elements can be moved around and adapted to any theme.
We are doing our best to also answer any question, so if you are looking for something in particular, please let us know.
Thanks
