Yes Guust,
than after having done what you explained you can use the /location/ page as directory home and change its name in the permalink settings if you need to do so.
This is how it works now, I’m not sure though it is the best solution and tomorrow we may come up with something different.
Thx
Hi, you need to set your permalinks in wordpress settings to postname.
Let us know,
@stiofan can we provide a function to override the default GD signin page?
Hi Randi,
the update that we will release tomorrow will make this much easier.
I hope this can wait till than, in this case we would provide you an example on how to do that easily.
Thanks,
Paolo
I’ll ask Stiofan to make sure that the add listing form as unique classes for all section so that they can be easily hidden via css.
Now all sections have class “geodir_form_row” only and it is a bit complicated to hide that section alone…
Thanks for spotting this.
Hi,
thanks for the heads up, yes some fields are mandatory and we still have to edit the documentation.
We are working on the new version on the plugin that should solve most of the problmes highlighted by users after this 1st 5 weeks after initial release, than we will focus on docs, video tutorials and compatibility packs.
Thanks,
Can you please send us a link and wp admin credentials in a private reply?
Thanks
We’ll considering building a dashboard addon with statistics and links to drafts to be approved…
Thanks for the suggestionUPDATE
we could simply fork this and add support for custom post type.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-drafts-and-reviews-dashboard-widget/faq/I’ll have a look into it to see how hard it would be…
Hi and pardon the delay in replying, did you follow this steps? https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/google-analytics/
Hi,
it can be made compatible with X, many here are already using it together. What’s happening is that we are developing a new version that will make it much easier to integrate in any theme html structure. without moving files around.
The version is ready, we just have to test it with all addons, especially the new multilocation and we will release it monday or tuesday.
Right after releasing the new version, we will start releasing addons with the code needed to make it work with a specific theme. 1st will be avada, enfold and X
Thanks,
June 5, 2014 at 11:27 pm in reply to: How to Output Overall Review-count for a Place/Event Category? #3676still a pretty complex thing to do…
A “Recent Reviews” widget would be nice to have.
Already in the to do list. That should ahve been in there already, we totally forgot about it…
Hi,
please go to GDF options >> Header Styling Options.
Thanks,
Yes GeoLocation addon is ready and will be released after the core and all updated addon have been released. Probably mid next week.
Thx
Hi Cathy,
once you create the new category, a virtual page is created for it.
Example if you create a new category for Places, let’s say Farms, it will appear when visiting the following URL:
yoursite.com/places/farms
You can add a link to the menu in WordPress dashboard via
Appearance >> Menus.
If you click on screen option (top right) you will see all GD elements that can be added to your custom menu.
To add a map to the top of your category page, go to
Appearance >> Widgets
Now simply add the “GD > GMap – Listing page” widget to the “GD Listing Top Section” widget area. Set width and height and make sure Map Sticky(should stick to the right of screen) ? is disabled.
The same you can do for the search by adding the GD > Search widget above or below the Map.
Let us know if you still have issues.
Thanks,
