Hi Gene,

after you created a Hotel CPT following this doc: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/custom-post-types-add-on-overview/

You will find the new post type in your WordPress menu in the right column of your dashboard. You’ll also see a menu to create Hotel Categories and Hotel Tags if needed.

If you need to add custom fields, you go to the menu GeoDirectory >> Hotel Settings and there you’ll be able to add extra fields.

updating plugins would not remove options. It would have happened on thousands of websites overnight and fortunately it didn’t.

TBH never had to use one.

If I had to do this I’d probably use these 2:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/export-users-to-csv/
https://wordpress.org/plugins/import-users-from-csv-with-meta/

Probably you’ll have to adjust the export to be compatible with the import, because they are from 2 different developers and I doubt they are compatible out of the box.

In any case it will be just few copy and paste of columns.
