That’s a premium plugin and it should come with support, testing 3rd party plugin for compatibility is not part of the support we provide.
Knowing about the other plugin you mentioned was easy (it does 1 thing), in your case we should invest time testing it and even understand what it does.

800×600 if you are not using Supreme.
1400×1050 if using Supreme for the featured image, 800×600 all the others.

What I’d suggest is moderating reviews as closely as possible.
