Cool, thanks for letting us know! 🙂
October 13, 2016 at 4:08 pm in reply to: Map and search widgets not displaying when buddypress activated #283184hi,
it looks like activating Buddypress triggers a PHP error. Probably a missing PHP lib on your server.
If you provide FTP details we will be able to see the error log and confirm if that is indeed the problem.
If it is you’ll have to ask to your server admin to install it and it’ll take them 2 minutes to fix it.
Let us know,
Thx
October 12, 2016 at 6:55 pm in reply to: WP Multisite – New Vendor listing showing Page Not Found #282411Hi Ellen,
that is very strange, I suspect a server configuration problem, but i can’t be sure.
I asked to the developers to check and let us know.
It would be best if you could also provide FTP credentials in case they need them.
Let us know,
Thanks
Hi,
please see the Feature Requests section on the sidebar of this page.
Thanks
Hi,
you have a category page for each city by default. However it is up to Google to index it and rank it in his search results.
The only thing that you can do on your side is make sure it has the best possible content. For example you should add a category description, to make sure Gooogle will find that page for a description too and not only for a list of plumbers, which will make it more valuable for Google.
Other than that, you’ll need to get some external backlinks from other website to this page if you want Google to rank it high. There is no plugin or custom solution that will make this happen automatically. Google doesn’t let you manipulate his search result that easily…
Thanks
October 12, 2016 at 4:13 pm in reply to: WP Multisite – New Vendor listing showing Page Not Found #282272Hi Ellen,
you are running an old version of the GeoDirectory plugin and all add-ons are out dated too.
Please make sure to update them all before posting again.
Let us know once it is done if the problem persist.
Thank you
If you change sorting it will not keep featured on top…
It will sort the listings as requested.
Hi,
if there was no error it would work. I don’t understand why wouldn’t trust us, seeing that the code is working for another member, but you trust a support guy from bluehost.
We can’t fix it unless they fix it 1st. Ask them to test the query Stiofan provided and they will see it is not working as it should. If they are not helpful, I’d strongly suggest to move to a better hosting provider.
Shared server (especially the low end one like bluehost) are really not a good choice for an application plugin like GeoDirectory anyway…

Thank you

please provide a link and admin credentials in a private reply and we will have a look.
Thanks
In Multisite users are shared already and all the rest should be feasible without the help of a developer…
I would definitely recommend to go that way.
Thanks
Hi,
were would be the email tab on that example?
Let me know,
thx
Hi,
actually this is the correct link for what you are looking for: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-shortcodes/#listings
Thanks
Hi,
the function provided by Stiofan should do exactly what you asked…
Thanks
Hi,
If you mean make them sub-pages of a parent page, no that is not possible. GD pages must be top level pages.
Thanks
great news 🙂
