    Hi,

you can hide neighbourhood with css probably, but not region if you have multiregions enabled. That is a mandatory field, the system cannot work without that field if it is required.

    Thanks

How did you check your openssl version?

Because my check says it is 9469999, which would mean 0.9.4(x)

The minimum required version is : 0.9.8o

Best would be greater than 1.0. Current version is 1.0.1s

    Let us know,

    Thanks

    Hi,

There is no filter for that.

You’d probably better off validating that with jQuery.

    Thanks

    I Maxim,

I’m the person who replied to your pre-sales question and even though I think it still can be done, the most difficult part would be having different fields for venues and burgers. There is a workaround, but it’s not ideal.

    My workaround would be:

1 auto select enable franchise with jQuery and hide that option with CSS
2 auto lock address (and any other fields that you don’t want to show for burgers) with jQuery
3 create all custom fields needed for both venues and burgers
4 add a body class that would differentiate venues and burger in both detail page and add lsiting page and hide the right fields for each case with css.

I asked to Stiofan (our lead developer and tech guru) his opinion and he confirmed this could work too, however he added that if he did for all custom post type what we do for Events (Events can be linked to any custom post type), you could create a custom post type burger venues and another custom post type burgers, allow users to link brugers to venues when adding them and show burgers in a tab of each venues (just like franchises).

That will keep venues and burgers listings completely separate in both the detail page and add listing page and could be used for many other similar cases.

We can provide all the jquery php and css for the workaround by monday, while for the proper solution it would take probably a week or so, but we have a developer, who we can assign this too without slowing down other priorities and we are tempted to develop it.

Let us know which solution you prefer and we will proceeed.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I’m not sure what you mean by on screen notification, GeoDirectory doesn’t have such thing.

The review notification is a normal WP notification of a new comment. DId you try disabling all non GD Plugin to see if the problem persist?

I would need admin credentials if you want us to look into it further.

    Thanks

I lowered the places membership say by $10 and if the member wants to
be able to add Classes, then they would have to purchase that separately.

This would be the only possible solution. CPT are completely indipendent from each other and so are their prices.

Yes a user can add both a place and a class as long as you allow users to post classes from the front end too.

Let us know if this helped.

    Thanks

    Please see: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-shortcodes/#login

The only alternative is custom code.

Not sure what you mean by huge widget, it doesn’t sound like a balanced description for the loginbox.

    Thanks

You will need to put that widget anywhere else. The links to get to the user dashboard are available through that widget.

There is no shortcode to send links to dashboard account via notifications.

Changes like different widgets. Lot of new widgets compared to GD, but also some that are no longer there.

Doing a copmarison point by point would be too long to write and honestly not something I would expect for 2 Wp products, even if they are developed by the same firm.

    Thanks
