hi,
Tell him:
When from the back end, I’m accessing the “add/edit post form” of any custom post type, the function get_post_type() is returning “medicenter_sidebars”, instead of the custom post type name, example if you are editing a GeoDirectory place it should return “gd_place”.
Any plugin dealing with custom post type will not work properly with this theme.
Let us know what they reply.
Thanks
There is something that is definitely killing your server. Your website wasn’t this slow last time I visited it. Did you add/do anything new that might be responsible?
I see wp db-manager adding alerts about a config problem (in comments.php it adds it several times).
I tried to deactivate it and it returned:
Error 503 Backend fetch failed
Backend fetch failed
Guru Meditation:XID: 2425490
Varnish cache server
I’ve asked to Stiofan to have a look too. Let us know,
Thanks
This is a theme problem, when editing a GD CPT we load extra CSS and JS files but on the GD CPT edit page the function get_post_type() is returning “medicenter_sidebars”. We could hack it to fix it but thats a short term solution this is really something the theme author should fix.
Did you try asking for support to the theme author? The problem is in his product, not GeoDirectory.
Let us know,
Thanks

Or you can hire someone to do it right away.

We don’t provide customization services directly, because we rather invest our time working for the whole community, not just for one member, we appreciate your feedback, at the moment we do not intend to change this.
I’ve moved your request in the jobs forum.
Thanks
Hi,
that’s due to css from the theme.
With this you will get it on one line:
.geodir-search .search_by_post { width: auto; }However it will require more tweaks to look good.
Why didn’t you select a compatible theme?Let us know,
Thanks
1) that is not possible. You can only link events to 1 custom post type. Anything else would require a customization.
2) Validation that you have on the front end is equal to validation you have in the back end. If you restrict your directory to Bucharest in Multi Location options, you won’t be able to add listings in any other location.
3) What do you mean with Location, another listing? You can only link events to listings that you own, did you enter that listing? Let us know.
Thanks
