Thank you for clarification. I’ve noticed that my categories without any icon still show a standard “Google” style red icon on the map. I am ok with that. Will I get any issues corrupting the GD or database if I do not assign any icon?
Hello! Same issue here. I bulk imported 500 categories without problems. Is there a quick way to assign any default icon to all of them? Any ideas? Maybe PhpMyAdmin would help?
Yes, that worked, thanks! Still I got a PHP warning as described here.
if Avada is selected you are all good…
Could you please clarify where the Avada should be selected? I don’t see it in the compatibility theme dropdown list as on the attached screenshot. At the same time the file “geodir_avada_compatibility_2.0.3.zip” in Downloads says “Discontinued. Plugin is no long necessary.”
April 5, 2015 at 10:55 am in reply to: Missing argument and header information in theme compatibility after upgrade #36215Hi, there! Same issue here:
WordPress 4.1.1
AVADA and AVADA Child 3.7.4
GeoDirectory Core plugin 1.4.2
Last step of the installation guide http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/basic-installation/
[x] Set geodirectory home page as your home at …wp-admin/admin.php?page=geodirectory&tab=design_settings [Save]
Produced the white screen and the following error messages:- Warning: Missing argument 2 for geodir_before_update_options() in .../wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory-admin/admin_functions.php on line 2990 - Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at .../wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory-admin/admin_functions.php:2990) in .../wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1178
Then the error messages disappered.
Jusjim, sorry for my English if you misunderstood me. What I recommended was that providing here in this post your WP admin link, username and password (with “Set as private reply” option checked) usually helps the authors to faster identify your problem. This is just my 5¢.
Besides, I am also very interested in solving this problem as I have similar symptoms with “location” slug on my site as I described in another topic here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/wrong-location-url/@justjim I’d suggest you provide WP admin credentials to the plugin authors via the private reply so they can review this problem in more details.
Is it possible somehow to make a regular search result page to be formatted in two columns:
http://theme-fusion.com/avada/?s=Quisque
and not one column with huge photos:
http://dropct.com/avada/?s=pubHi, is it possible to make the style of Name/Email/Website boxes in the “Leave A Comment/Reply” section on your demo site at
http://dropct.com/avada/places/united-states/pennsylvania/philadelphia/attractions/rittenhouse-square/#reviews
to look like on the Avada demo site like below?
http://theme-fusion.com/avada/praesent-et-urna-turpis-sadips/Hi, the “Send Enquiry” and “Send To Friend” links are not working on your demo site.
Hi, there! It’s not that hard:
1. Export countries table from phpMyAdmin to your local disk as OpenOffice.
2. Open your file with OpenOffice http://www.openoffice.org/download/index.html
2. Translate countries column with https://translate.google.com/
3. Import edited file into phpMyAdmin database.
Or you can translate the Brasil line only and move it up in the list so your users will see Brasil as the first option in the dropdown list when they select country on the Add Listing page.Hi, John! Thank you for your help with Avada. Please see some issues with Avada in these forum posts:
