BTW the theme i am using is enfold theme
Thanks guys… this should work for what I want!
Alright… that’s bad…
So different question. Is it possible to create a customised “Add Listing” link, where only one option is shown.
So for example if I have a free and one paid option. Would it be possible to create one customised “Add Listing” link where only the free option would be shown (no way to choose the paid one) and one link where only the paid option is shown (no way to choose the free one)?
If that would work, I would then collect the payment outside of WPGeodirectory and – depending which option they choose outside of it – send them to their customised page to set up their Listing.
Would that work?
Hi Alex,
and thanks for looking into this… I am wondering why this all changed, because it has worked before.
I had the page on /events and it worked. So it felt strange, that it stopped working from one day to another.
And, I already had the settings for adding new events on the frontend set the right way, but they seemed to have disappeared.Did somebody change that manually while working on fixing the other issues or do settings get overriden by updates as well?
Thanks Patrik,
for doing this… it seems that the tags and also the map and the description in the backend work as they should now.
But when I just checked my site, I saw that somebody also made changes on my url-settings in WP-Geodirectory. I have setup a custom page as the landing page for Events called /events. As this is the default slug for the events page in your setting, I changed the slug to /event-list, which used to work about a week ago. Now, when I click on /events, the default page shows up.
And there is a second issue… I added the link https://presenter.world/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_event as “Add Event” link in my menu. This worked as well, when I set it up, but now it sends people to that homepage on https://presenter.world. Why that?
Thanks,
MichaelHi Patrik,
and thanks for taking care of this and making the change. Please tell me, what I will have to do to, to also fix this in the future.
Thanks,

But I managed to make it happen. As soon as the first event is posted the custom page worked.
Without an event in the database, the custom page is not working.Issue solved for me.
What do you mean with “BSR cateche”?
Hi Alex and thanks for all the help you provided so far…
I just recognised that I had different settings for the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) in the main settings of my WordPress site. The first one was still http while the later one was on https.I just changed both settings to https and now everything is fine and the preview images are showing up again!
So it looks like the issue is solved!
Okay Alex, so just to make sure I understand that right. I would have to change all http: URLs in the database to https and everything will fine?
Btw… I am sure, if that is really the issue, because the shift from http to http was taken half a year ago. I started using WPGeoDirectory only 2-3 weeks ago and when we set it up, everything worked like a charm. But about 3-4 days ago, the preview images suddenly disappeared. So if the issue with the wrong links would be the reason… i would not have worked right from the beginning. Right?
Hi Alex… the site is on https://
Does this make a difference? When you say 321 cells need to be updated, you mean deleted or updated in a special way?
