Hi Cathy,
The standard GD will let you do that with one location, you might need the Location Manager if your farms are in more than one town? Once you install that plugin the new farms can be added for any location and they will be added to the map.
I suspect the popup text on the map will be easier to specify in the next release, due sometime soon.

Thanks for the update Paolo. Software development always takes longer than expected. The first release of GD was pretty good and this next release sounds like it will be a major improvement – maybe you can just stop with the daily “next day release” statements! 😉
I’ve bought Enfold and learning how it works in anticipation of the next GD.
Good job mate!
Pinpoint functionality
The “Pinpoint” link on the listings page works quite well, but I wonder if we could have the option to specify the zoom level on the map when this link is selected.
If you have a look at this page…
http://wpgeo.directory/hotels/5-stars/
…and click on the pinpoint for any of the hotels, you will see that the map has to be resized several times before the actual address is visible on the map.
Personally I would like the map to zoom to street level, other people might prefer a different zoom, hence the suggestion to specify a zoom level.
You have the setting for number of images per listing set to “0”, if you set it to blank, or a value greater than 0 your images will not get deleted – might be part of the Payment plugin??
Paolo can this please be changed so the default is ” and not 0, it seems to confuse many people.

Does it have a method for preventing this page from appearing…
http://goldroo.net/wp-login.php
…and having a captcha, or other security techniques to prevent brute force hacking attempts?
June 10, 2014 at 12:06 am in reply to: How to define first image as WP featured image standard #3870+1 – yes, as requested elsewhere, featured images are used in many themes/sliders and it would be nice if there was a way to specify a featured image for a GD post.
+1 I don’t want the GD login pages, there are plenty of alternatives.
It makes sense for ALL listings, not just events, that the user should be able to specify a starting date for the listing to appear.
If there is an event in 6 months, and the user wants to advertise it for 30 days, they should be able to pre-book the listing and specify the starting date.
Same for a business – if they are having a “September Sale” they might want to specify an upgraded “Feature” listing for 60 days starting on August 1.
It sounds complicated, but start with the ability to specify a starting date and build on it later?
I think I would like this too.
There are sliders/portfolio add-ons, included with a lot of themes, that allow the featured image of a custom post type to be used. Is there a way to set the WP featured image for a GD listing?
+1
But, only on selected maps.
Not my top priority <g>
The compatibility packs look like examples of using functions to customise the layout of the GD elements. My guess is that these examples will guide us to add similar code to our functions.php file for any template that we use?
Someone said there would be a tutorial.
Thanks Roger, it looks good!
@TammyTammy – I think the idea with the next release of GD is to make it compatible with all themes, but you might still need a child them to fix the issue you highlighted. Hopefully we’ll know this time next week!
