Yes that’s what I meant. Ok, thanks for confirming.
January 11, 2020 at 2:11 am in reply to: Search Page Title & Custom Fields, Search Page Elementor #525146Thanks for confirming that Alex, I’ll try using shortcodes in Elementor for Search archive listings. I am using Pro and have set up the Search Archive template correctly.
I still don’t know how to keep the search filters in open status in Elementor – I want to show a filters sidebar on archive pages. It works fine in the theme sidebar, but doesn’t seem to work in an Elementor container using the GD Search widget.
Displaying which filters are applied to search results, such as ‘results filtered by:…’ would be helpful – again I can’t see a way to do that.
Apologies, Search is now showing newly imported listings in A-Z! My first time importing – it was definitely defaulting Z-A but maybe that was before I did the Term Counts? It’s fine now. Thanks for replying so quickly!

I downloaded and edited the core and location language files using POEdit, uploaded the edited .po files with the newly created .mo files, logged in and out of WP. Unfortunately the translations aren’t appearing on the back end or front end.
I’ve tried placing the files in /wp-content/languages/plugins/ as your link suggests, and also in their original folder – I downloaded the files again to check they had been updated.
I’ve searched the web for an answer but not found anything. Do you have any suggestions?
Thank you.I have the same requirement, wanting to list web-only businesses alongside those with a physical location.
1. Is it possible by linking a geo CPT and non-geo CPT to a parent CPT?
2. Or is it possible to hide map and address on the front-end input form using a custom field ‘no location’ and some css? I guess this may require sending a default dummy address to the database from the front-end form (hidden from the user)?
Thanks – I’m a newbie, joined yesterday. 🙂 -
