Is it back to square one. I have just updated GD and all plugins to the new version and I am back to exactly the same problem I had before the update and was solved for one day.
I am unable to add a new location successfully.
I have enabled and disabled the address autocompleter – it does not work.
I have enabled and disabled the geo location in Firefox – it does not work.Could you please check my settings once more, I have provide my login details etc earlier in this thread. Thanks.
Hi Guust, I have implemented as you suggested and all seems to be working OK. Any date for the next version of autocompleter. Thanks.
Guust. I can now add locations successfully on Firefox so long as geo location is turned off in Firefox. However (and very strangely) on my Chrome browser the map does not show any listings if you do any searches on the map. Please check http://directory.spainpropertycentral.co.uk/ using Chrome. Thanks.
Help. I have just got back to working on my directory and the problem with location is still there. This is stopping any development and is becoming frustrating.
I have turned off geo location in Firefox, see here and there is no improvement and I have tried adding locations using Chrome and setting the locations just will not work.
What am I doing wrong?
OK, it looks like I will have to be patient and wait for the new address auto-completer update.
I did add the show location add on to Firefox from here. Is this the one you mean?

Hi Guust, I am not seeing the same menu, all I am getting is ‘Share Location’ or ‘Not Now’ when in Firefox. I have tried Chrome and I am still getting problems.
I am getting lost in what things like ‘switch location’, ‘share location’ do. They seem superfluous to my requirement (I think).
If I can explain. All my directory searchers live outside of Spain but they are only looking for results within Spain.
If I recall correctly this problem did not exist before the latest updates to the ‘Multilocation Plugin’, since then I have ground to a halt on development of the site.

This reply has been marked as private.Hi Paulo, I have tried with the share location active and deactivated and it does not make any difference. The only way I can get rid of the problem is by deactivating the Location Manager, which is something I definitely need. Solution please.
No, mine just keeps coming back and will not go away. A pain in the butt….
It will not allow me to input the correct street address, comes up with an error message “your current location is unknown” and gives the wrong location in the right sidebar here.
Hi Guust, thanks for your response. Can this be treated as a matter of urgency as I have now come to a stop when trying to add data. I do not want to have to go back and change things later.

OK I have a good look at the guide but I still seem to have a problem with the Author Pages, from the guide “This is the page displaying content specific to your users when they are logged in; it is your users’ dashboard. It will list their favourite listings and/or events, and the listings they have submitted themselves.”
When I log in as a user I cannot see the Author page, so I am missing a setting somewhere. Can you help. Thanks.
