Also, the site icon on the tab is of an older version that I no longer use.

Many thanks
This stuff sadly goes right over my head, so I’m really glad I have this support network here 🙂August 13, 2018 at 6:05 pm in reply to: Event plug in installed and activated but not showing in admin panel #442239Hi, I’ve changed the permalinks, which I wish I’d known about 5 years ago when I started the site haha
Anyway, none of the links on the Events Directory are working. I’ve even updated the Yoast slug as that was different, but the Error 404 still appears. I’ve tried everything, so wonder if you could take another look, please?August 13, 2018 at 2:41 pm in reply to: Event plug in installed and activated but not showing in admin panel #442197Hmm interesting that I never got an update notification. I guess they sometimes get lost. Many thanks for that and I will take a look for the problems you think may arise 🙂

This issue is resolved though.
Many thanksHi,
many thanks for your prompt reply. I went to geodirectory>Design>Navigation and updated all the fields to include Events.
That seems to have solved it, but I’ll come back if I have any problems.I usually do 😉
Many thanks
MattFebruary 21, 2017 at 5:48 pm in reply to: Licenc Key for Events and Location Manager aren't accepted #362935Hi, yes! That worked. It would seem I wasn’t using the licence key at all, but the purchase key. I assumed they were the same thing.
Many thanks for your help 🙂
Hello, it’s me again!
As we’ve established, nothing goes smoothly for me.
Before too many people added events to the page that are calendar events (100% of them) I decided to pay for the Events add on.
I’ve installed it smoothly and I’m going to transfer all the events over to the new system, but on the first one I’m getting the ZERO_RESULTS error code again. I have Multi Location but it seems they’re not working in tandem.
Is there somethign I can do?
Should you need to log in and look, my details are on previous messages in this thread 😉Matt
I might have guessed I’d have something desparately wrong with it. Haha, I’m surprised I can adult most days. Thanks so much for sorting that for me. After my initial horror at seeing a blank page and not managing to get any places up, I’ve managed to get it working.
Thanks so much, i think this will bring lots of additional traffic to the site 🙂

This reply has been marked as private.Hi,
thanks for your help, I installed it as a plug in. Is that where I’ve gone wrong maybe?Matt
Just as a follow on to the last post:
I’m the same person as who started this thread, but I’m logged in under the account which I bough the add on with 😉I’ve deactivated the add on and the front page now loads, so it is that which is causing the error. I’ll leave it deactivated so people can still access the site until a correction can be determined.
Best regards
MattHiya,
I’ve upgraded to the multi location add on and it’s all working perfectly…BUT…
The Home Page of the website now isn’t working and it has the old site icon in the tab from before I went self hosted. In Firefox the page is completely white. In IE Edge, I get a HTTP 500 error. I’ve tried to find the problem but it seems to have started since I installed the Multi Location add on.
It may be just a horrible coincidence, but thought I’d check with you guys since I had a look…Thanks in advance
