Hi Scott,
Do you have a skype account, i feel we might save a lot of time if we have a quick chat, or even just live text chat if you prefer?
Thanks,
Stiofan
Hi Scott,
We load the forms in an Iframe for a few different reasons, the main one being that their is issues having multiple forms on the one page https://wordpress.org/support/topic/two-forms-on-the-same-page-not-working/
This way you can use the NF selected styles and have multiple forms and even show them on the archive page.
Thanks,
Stiofan
Scott,
We took a look a long time ago about the best way to organise things to be able to both filter and scale and the way i am suggesting is what i believe is best, what you are suggesting i don’t think will work well, and is that not why you came to GD?
I can see from your cat list it can be organsied into many Industries with those then having categories that would be more relevant to specific fields.
What i am suggesting is
Industry
– Category
— Sub CategoriesThat would not take 80 CPTs going by your cat list it would take only a few CPTs.
There are many many reasons i am telling you this is the right way to do things but i don’t seem to be able to convince you, i am happy to explain the tecnicallites and reasons we do it the way we do. Most others you mention that do it the way you want don’t have the option for different CPTs and don’t scale…
We are always happy to listen to suggestions and if they will work for everyone then we will implement them, maybe i am not explaining it well enough but the way you want it to work is not the best way technically to do things.
If you give more details about cats and fields i am happy to suggest the best way to do things to be able to scale in general and with GD.
Thanks,
Stiofan
This has been fixed and will be in the next release.
Thanks,
Stiofan
We have added a fix for this which will be in the next release.
Thanks,

This reply has been marked as private.Hi Jan,
It seems to be a multisite but the user is not a network admin.
Can you make the user a super admin or if you prefer if you can enable the caching plugin and check if the issue still exists, then we can narrow it down to the plugin or the hosting. Thanks,
Stiofan
Please try now.
Thanks,
Stiofan
I have asked a developer to look into this more. We use a custom DB for most of our images, if we can integrate it more with rank math then we will.
Stiofan
Hi Jan,
We would need to look at your site to check things, please provide wp-admin details when you can.
Are the users logged in or out when adding a listing?
Thats the only thing i can think of, as when a listing is added when logged out it creates a unique key so they can still edit it even if they close the window and open it again, if your server is somehow caching session (bad) then thats the only thing i can think of.If not please give a step by step guid on how to recreate.
Thanks,
Stiofan
FYI it looks like you are trying to use your membership key on the theme which will not work, you can find the theme key in your main account page.

September 27, 2019 at 7:04 pm in reply to: GeoDir_Compatibility::dynamically_add_post_meta – Resource Usage high #510613Hi Tim,
That call usually tries to make your theme page settings work on the template pages. The call can be disabled with this code snippet (not tested)
remove_filter( 'get_post_metadata', array( 'GeoDir_Compatibility', 'dynamically_add_post_meta' ), 10, 4 );
What theme are you using?
Stiofan
Hi Brian,
The offset for BH should always be the standard and not consider DST (daylight savings time) at all.
It does look to me like it should be +10 and not +9.
The way it works is it uses the WP timezone but there seems to be a bug there, we will look into it. When the map is moved it should also adjust the BH offset, which is correct. You can update listings by exporting and then re-importing to update.
Thanks,
Stiofan
Hi Scott,
This is how a CPT works, you can have different filters per CPT.
To my knowledge not many other directories let you create CPTs, so its a very similar way to do things but with CPT instead of categories.I’m not 100% against the idea but its not a feature that has been requested any time recently. I would need more convincing to make it a top priority.
Thanks,
Stiofan
I think i know what the issue might be but i’ll let you make the change…
The details settings for the theme are now inherited from the template page, so please make sure comments are enabled on the details page template.
Let us know if thats the issue.
Thanks,
Stiofan
