For the removal of terms to work the search form must be on the page somewhere, i have added it to the top but you could add it to the side if you prefer.

The problem was your GD Header Right widget area had things in it that it should not have.

The that is called a breadcrumb, the category is at the end.
The place is the CPT, you can change the name of that if all your listings are in the same industry, just like any other WP CPT it can’t be removed.Stiofan

Is that a CPT selector or a category selector you have added to advanced search?
If its CPT then a CPT must be selected, so there is no placeholder, the whole search form reloads when u change CPT.Stiofan
I noticed there was a problem with GD Booster which i have fixed, but i don’t see any mobiel issues, what page are u seeing it on?

There was a problem with one of your DB tables, i have fixed that now.
For the caching, please disable GD Booster and try the two plugins i mentioned
“I would recommend you try WP Super Cache + Autoptimize to see if you get better results.”

I think we used to also do it by time but people complained that users where looking for events on that day that had past but they were already gone.
It should not be too hard for a dev to add the timing in, we have lots of hooks.For linking CPT to events, i think we considered it but had to rule it out for a good reason, i believe there would have been conflicts with the current linking to business system.
