Hi GUys,
I know your busy but any news on this problem with the nap pins?
It has been three months and i think it looks like I will have to go through the 6k listings and re save which seems to sort it out?
cheers
All good Paolo…
Hi Pix3x,
Just to let you know so you don’t spend hours going through your site changing all the category images and still have the same problem.
I have flagged this problem 6 weeks ago – My site is live so you can imagine I have tried everything from changing the backend pin.png via sftp, to changing every category icon – I then tried a different icon for every category.
Everything is fine on new listings.
The only way I have found to fix things is re-save every place that has the wrong or missing icon, this error must have happened when I uploaded the csv.
The problem I have is that I have 6k listings live of which 5.5k have a missing or incorrect pin.
You cannot bulk save them either…
Hopefully an answer comes soon.
Dave
Hi Howard,
I have about 6,000, I would back up daily buddy just in case and try any updates on a staging site first.

June 19, 2014 at 10:49 am in reply to: ERROR – KILLED QUERY geodirectory/geodirectory_hooks_actions.php:1011 #5019I had the same problem, the error log showed nothing on the server side at first and also when I set up a new domain to test I also had nothing.
I then went to my original install and found that it showed error logs for my staging site, that’s where this info comes from.
I am 90% certain that it has something to do with the amount of places we have, I had the same error when importing a csv file – I could only do 250-500 at a time.
If I could export the places I would try a brand new install.
June 18, 2014 at 6:59 pm in reply to: ERROR – KILLED QUERY geodirectory/geodirectory_hooks_actions.php:1011 #4836I am doing some testing from this side as well.
I’m wondering if its anything to do with object caching… I am switching off all caching and other wpengine tools to see if that helps.
Will update as I go.
Cheers
This reply has been marked as private.I have now tried deactivating all plugins including Geodirectory from a new staging area.
I can update the core plugin which I did, I then updated permalinks and tried to activate just the core Geodirectory plugin without any other plugin running and still got the 502 bad gateway error…
Im a little stuck to be honest…
OK…
So I copied the whole site to a test area – http://testingfloor.wpengine.com/
All worked fine, I tried to just auto update the core plugin and it completed – then again I got a 502 bad gateway when ever I try any page in safari – but I can still open the front page in chrome and fire fox although again any other page won’t work?
I have checked the site error logs and there is nothing on the server side??
I don’t think I can get error logs from the staging site from my admin area in wpengine, only for the main site.
The error completely breaks the staging site so i can’t even check back end there.
I also think its a memory error as I had before – but even with increased memory anything over 2k places always had this error.
I will copy my whole main site and try again – that way I should get a copy of the error in the logs.
I am also having problems when trying to update just the core plugin first…
I get the message that it has updated but then have the 502 bad gateway error – this leads to the whole site being broken (thankfully a staging site)
As I mentioned the only other time I have ever had this error was when trying to upload more then 500 places by CSV.
