Ok…frustrated.
Just once I had hoped that things would actually work. *sigh*
First…I followed the directions carefully in this link: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/ninja-forms/#contact
And….it doesn’t show. No idea why. As far as I can tell, I did everything right.
So then I tried to do it with shortcode. It worked in the sense that it made a button. But when you click on it, it’s just a blank black box.
*SIGH*
So what did I do wrong??? Here’s a link to a listing for you to see the code and see if you can figure it out: https://homeschoolrealm.com/wordpress/places/clovis/family-outings/united-skates-of-america-clovis/
The button that shows in the sidebar that says “contact form” is the form made with shortcode. Incidentally…a separate issue…I actually changed the wording of that button and THAT didn’t show either.
And the Ninja Form widget is SUPPOSED to show directly below that button that IS showing. But….nothing.Oh and before you ask…I DID clear my cache…AND I turned off any cache plugins.
GUUST!! Your first link is exactly what I’m looking for!! THANK YOU!!!
Yay! Ok, I’m going to dig into what you guys said and will get back to you if I have questions. Thank you for the info!!
I swear I responded to this…no idea what happened to it.
THANK YOU!! This was extremely helpful! I feel so much better knowing what the heck that extra one was from and deleted it feeling confident that I didn’t need it.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
Problem solved! 🙂
I see that my regular login page has this shortcode: [uwp_login] so now I’m thinking that maybe its the gd-login page that is duplicate and should be deleted…since it’s blank and the regular one actually works: https://homeschoolrealm.com/wordpress/login/
But why was the gd-login page created in the first place? I just don’t want to mess anything up.
Ok, another weird thing…the gd-login page is blank: https://homeschoolrealm.com/wordpress/gd-login/
Maybe I’m supposed to set it up? I’m sorry to keep asking questions…I do go through the documentation but I am not finding what I need and it’s just all so overwhelming trying to find things.
May 30, 2019 at 12:12 am in reply to: How do I change the thumbnails back to the way they were? #489907I suppose I could make each one the same color as the button it’s on, but is there a way to make the stripe specific to each individual button? I have no idea how to code that.
May 30, 2019 at 12:10 am in reply to: How do I change the thumbnails back to the way they were? #489905As I said in my original post…I want to make the thumbnails look like they used to look. See the attached images in my original post. They didn’t used to have this grey stripe under the words. I just want that grey stripe gone. Not sure why anyone would want to make just the bottom half of the category thumbnails just invisible…the code you shared just makes the bottom go away. Either I’m not understanding something or it’s weird.
I just want to have that grey stripe gone. I like the colors with the words directly on the square. NO GREY.
Oh ok, thank you. I’ll look into that.

May 28, 2019 at 10:13 pm in reply to: How do I change the thumbnails back to the way they were? #489627One or the other what? I’ve tried both pieces of code separately and they both appear to do the same thing. I can’t tell a difference. And both make both layers transparent.
So I can’t just edit the file in cpanel? Because I did that and it didn’t change anything…
There is no directory wp-content/languages
I’ve done that, I just think it would look nicer in the top of the listing where all the other info already is.
May 28, 2019 at 5:28 pm in reply to: How do I change the thumbnails back to the way they were? #489563Thank you. That code did make the top layer transparent, but it also made the layer beneath transparent as well. See attached image.
I’ve fiddled with the code a bunch and nothing seems to work to make only the top layer transparent.
