Yes and no,
The scripts are back where they belong. But,
I had also noticed that the gd login area was not showing correctly, also if you scroll down to the area where I have post previews, they are not showing. The slider showing recent listings is not sliding and is stuck on 1 listing. the latest post news bar below menu is stuck, and does not rotate latest posts.
I know there are several elements to page, srry, trying to make a page that viewers see various parts to site, not just directory.
Maybe it would help to open a tab with booster disabled, and the open tab with booster enabled to help see what stops working on page.
side note, I was going to ask for help getting the search bar to show correctly on homepage later since its sizing seems to cut out and distort it, looks like something changed a little with that too, still does not show well,
Any idea on this. Booster enabled is causing breaks in several areas of page. Really need to be able to use booster.
I will try to explain better. While logged into wordpress with my director account.
I can click on the menu tab called community which is a buddypress tabs.
It will open the tab asking me to log in or register, which is what the tab shows to people who are not logged in. It is showing me this while logged in.
It is acting strangely, yesterday when I opened this ticket it was doing that from the homepage.
Now on the homepage, while logged in the community tab expands showing options it should if I logged in. But, for example, if I go from homepage to profile page, using tab “profile” on the community menu tab, and look at community tab in menu again after just going to profile page, the community tab from the menu button shows me options to register or log in.I cant explain it, I tested several times and it returned the backwards result I mentioned. I will keep an eye on this and see if it returns.
thank youWas anyone able to accomplish this?
Ok, I thought you had done that with all the compatibility plugins, but since it was a new theme and when I open the admin it gives a notice saying “The following recommended plugin is currently inactive: GeoDirectory – Multinews Theme Compatibility.” I enabled it. Now i will delete it and ignore the message.
Thanks

Disabled the booster. and the scripts reverted to the general areas they are supposed to be in. So seems like booster has a part to play in this.

Misunderstood,
Set to default no image, and the issue is resolved.
Thank you

Within the geodirectory settings, option to set GD as homepage, that is what i am calling GD virtual homepage. I am creating a new page to use as homepage since it is faster based on my initial tests, and by designing the page can do much more with it. Sorry for the confusion.
The instructions you gave confuse me and I have them in front of me to read. How will visitors ever know to do that?
At least for me, a button to clear geolocation (reset geolocation) would be better, since I need to view the big picture and am not interested in only locations around me.
Just a recommendation, thinking about it from a visitors perspective , a reset button is the easiest way to get rid of something that dont like.
The current home page is the GD virtual home page.
I have not found a way in the news theme to adjust margin widths yet, may not exist.
That said, I am working on creating a new home page, and disabling the GD virtual homepage.
The News theme is a gazillion times better than avada. Avada caused so much bloat and errors, that I am not sure I have been able to clean out of the system, even after deleting everything from avada I could find.
Notes: The GD virtual homepage is very very very slow. I have gained 3 seconds on load time, with much more stuff, and improved speed scores, by creating a homepage page and including GD maps in custom widget areas. Dont know if its like this with everyone, but the virtual home page has not been good at all to me.
Also, avada theme sucks so bad. After my personal experience with that theme, I would recommend that you remove it from your list of supported/recommended themes. It is horrible.
April 2, 2015 at 11:09 pm in reply to: I have an image file loading on gd virtual homepage that is not in media file #36023i do not think this gets to the root of the issue.
The image file was there before, and the same problem, where it was calling the image and not able to load it. Attempting to solve the error I attempted to just get rid of the image. I deleted it from the media library, but it did not clear up the issue. So putting the image back wont clear it up. Why is it even calling this image, i dont want it to call that image. Where would the image show on any page if it were successful in showing?
I am more interested than the why this is happening. I will be removing the GD virtual homepage, and creating a new page for the homepage. So that will technically fix the problem, but I think it is still a good idea to find out why it is happening.
Thank you

There has got to be something more you can give me to go on. The site is loaded with errors that are from migrating from the old directory system to this one.
There are errors in the system that are directly from before i started using wpgeo, from not having a fresh install of wpgeo when i migrated to your system.
the site is done and crashed and gone if there is not a way to create a fresh install.
