Change domain licence is registered for Social Importer

    Good Afternoon,
    May I ask if we can look at changing the domain the social importer is registered to. Currently Airdrieexchange.com forwards to lindseycoyle.com and because of this the social importer won’t work. I believe this is why the importer will not work currently. It would only be single site use still just due to redirects and security we need changed. Thank you.

    Do you mean the license for the addon?
    Update Single Site License for a decommissioned site
    It may be that you started working on a site, then changed the URL or deleted or otherwise decommissioned the site. In this case, follow these steps:

    1. Visit https://wpgeodirectory.com/your-account/purchase-history/
    2. Select “View Licences” for the product.
    3. Select “Manage Sites”
    4. Select the sites where you want to deactivate the license.

    If you mean the FB app, then that setting is in the FB app settings (in facebook).

    I have looked and this only provides an option to deactivate which I don’t want to do. When we first ordered the product we ordered it under the company domain, however, because our hosting is under another domain and our company domain acts as a forward we simply want to change the domain name the license is under to point at the hosting so that the plugin works. Is this something you can do so we can have access to the full ability of the plugin and the add-ons?

    Once you deactivate, you can reactivate at a new domain.

    I am not sure what the problem is, based on your description.

    Is the plugin not working? Can you describe the specific issue?

    In the plugins page, have you entered and activated a license?
    If so then you should be able to update the plugin.

    The issue is that the social importer is not working. Based on the fact that we bought the license for airdrieexchange.com, but that domain is actually forwarding to lindseycoyle.com’s hosting space we feel this could be what is causing the problem. Is there something else that could be causing the problem?

    That does not sound like it should be a problem.
    Please share your site URL and WP Admin credentials so we can take a look.
    Can you say more about what is not working?

    When do you plan to upgrade to V2? The Social Importer addon has new features in V2 that allow it to work without a FB app, for example.
