I am ripping my hair out. I have been through the design elements, shortcodes etc but I have yet to find a way of creating a better aesthetic for the categories than the current tiles. I would just like a nicely formatted list similar to the picture attached. Any ideas please?

PS. I am using the latest WP and GD with Avada.

    Hi gaz36f,

Thanks for your post. Could you show us what you’ve done on your end? We don’t offer hands-on assistance but would be able to point you the right direction to achieve what you needed there.

    Hi Kor,

Thanks for getting back. I have attached an image of the tiles that are coming up for my main categories. I just want something that looks more like a directory (ie. a listing with perhaps a Main Category heading and subcats underneath) with the number of sites neatly tabulated. Failing that, something like the image earlier would suffice.

    Many thanks, Gary

The first image requires quite a bit of custom CSS to achieve, if it is possible with CSS at all.

GD Categories has options to show child categories. Try configuring it with the shortcode builder to show child categories. They will be indented and you can use custom CSS to indent them more or change the style.

You can find some example CSS here to get you started:
