Hi, Im having a really hard time setting up the sidebars on my home page. I’m new to all this and am running on an Enfold theme. Ive used Enfold a lot and have never had these issues. The home page content just slots in below the side bar. Ive tried a hundred different combinations and nothing works. Is it the % width of sidebars set in GD and the Enfold layout option widths having to cross correlate or something? Im guessing its something simple Im overlooking. Please point me in the right topic direction to find the answer, thanks!

Can you post your URL and admin details in a private reply, so we can have a look for you.

    Hi,

for the sidebar problem please ask for support to the theme author: http://www.kriesi.at/themedemo/?theme=enfold

We don’t provide support for 3rd party products and the Theme Compatibility settings only affect GD pages. Not Enfold pages. If you decide to use the GD home let us know and we will have a look.

1.) When I’m adding the listing, it does not accept the address on the map. I add the same address in Google maps and it works. So Im manually adding in the coordinates in and it seems to work (but boy how laborious!)

We’d need at least one address to test!

2.) When I add the listing and click on Publish it shows the Preview. (love that, its awesome) It doesn’t show the Place Title in big(seems odd); it shows the slider of pictures at the top (correct), and it shows the map(perfectly!), but it doesn’t show the youtube video.

The title is not showing because you removed it via Enfold settings.

3.) Then as soon as I publish it to go live, the map doesn’t show (only shows the No Record Found message), the youtube video does show (yea!), but the slider doesn’t load.

Ive tested 1 listing and everything seems to be working correctly, please provide the link to a faulty listing and we will ahve a look.

4.) so Im guessing something goes funky between the preview listing page and the listing page. Also, I don’t see the Related Listings anywhere.

On the listing I tested related listings was visible…

    Let us know,

    Thanks

The reason things work a bit better is probably because I set your permalinks correctly a while ago, before I escalated to Paolo.

I have no problem adding any GD stuff to your normal WP pages, so not sure what you mean, I tried one at /?page_id=1850&preview=true.

The maps thing is because you do not have the Multilocation addon (Location Manager), so you can only add listings in your default location.

If you want to add listings without a physical address, the custom post type addon allows you to create a post type where addresses are not required.
