File Upload custom field – ability to download from admin

Hi,

I want to use the file upload custom field for users to upload some ID documents for verification when add a listing. However, i obviosuly do not want that to be visible in front end- which i can avoid by not adding it on the detail page i suppose. But i also want to be able view and download the ID for verification from admin, which I am not able to do.

I had flagged this topic about a year ago and you had mentioned that you would look into this – so just checking if any udpate.

No update on this. Your best bet is to use something like widget logic to show the field as a widget on the frontend, and then use widget logic to only show the field on frontend if the user is admin.
