I’m using filezilla to back my website up via FTP, so far it’s backed up over 10k items all from my booster or so it seems. (It’s still going)

Is that normal? It’s the first time I’ve used filezilla so unsure. It just seems like allot to me and no idea when It’s going to stop.

    Thanks.

    Hi Amy,

Thanks for your reply. You can actually ignore that folder but since it’s already running, just let it finish. Important things to backup are the SQL database and the wp-content folder.

    Thanks!

The files in the folder can be deleted, you might want to do that next time or skip the folder completely as Kor mentioned. They are not needed for a backup.

    Hello,

thanks for sending the screenshot, that clarifies a lot.

Those extra folders should not be there. Usually there should be only a single folder geodir-gd-cache folder inside a wp-content/cache/ folder. Many things depend on the settings, though.

Can you say what setting you have for GDB for the cache folder?

You can include WP Admin in a private reply if you would like us to check the settings.
