    Hi Amy,

    I have deleted those files but its not the problem, the issue is you have a site with about 6k listings and many heavy plugins installed, even when i tested with just GD installed it was taking about 4-5 seconds to load pages, this is not good. Please read my satire blog post about how to make your site slow, you seem to be following it without knowing 🙂

    If i were you i would be looking for at least a VPS hosting but better yet a dedicated server, any of these would be good: https://www.hetzner.com/dedicated-rootserver/matrix-ex

    Thanks for pointing me in the direction of that blog I found it very useful.

    I had a quick look at those hosting packages but will have a better look later today.

    I was not aware that plugins had such an impact on page speed, I will have a look at them now to see what I can sort out.

    Is there a tool to test which are heavy on loading and which are not?

    A developer could advise you about each plugin, and ways by which the plugins functionality could be integrated into the theme or page templates.

    A site as large as that will have many opportunities for performance savings

    There is no need to backup any of the cache related files 

    

    
booster-cache (glowing red)
geodir-gd-booster
advanced-cache.php <– no idea what that one is.
