Hi. I am a former customer but had some problems with my web designer and am creating a new site on my own. I would like to incorporate GD and was wondering if there is a page of instructions? I would like to have some search boxes (one in my Destinations section and one in my Events section) on the home page that will lead to pages dedicated to either Destinations or Events. I don’t want GD to take up the full page but to incorporate it into my design because I have a defined look and also will have editorial included. Can you help? I can’t show you my site now as it is under construction but I could send screen shots of what I need. Or send you a password to view it. Thank you so much!

July 8, 2016 at 8:08 pm #224192Hi. I just purchased membership. I’m trying to understand installation of the other features – do I need to download each addon individually or is there a way to get all features on my site? I also don’t understand how to get them into my WP Divi site once downloaded to my computer. Thanks.
July 9, 2016 at 2:45 am #224390Download the addons you want, you might not need all of them.
This explains how to install them: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/installing-addons/July 9, 2016 at 4:29 pm #224689Thank you so much! I did download many of them. Is there also a guide somewhere on how to integrate into my own pages so my layout and gd are together on one page? That’s what I can’t seem to figure out. I’m not a web designer, just a novice trying to build my own site:)
July 9, 2016 at 6:21 pm #224785Hi,
that mainly depends on the theme used, if it’s a compatible theme, there will be nothing to do. If you provide a link to show us what’s wrong, we may be able to help you fix it.
Thanks

https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layout/
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/category/getting-started/You can use shortcodes in those sections, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-shortcodes/
I have quickly added the [gd_advanced_search] code in the events section of your home page.
I also restored a number of your GD pages that were deleted, and reset the permalinks.
The events you have created are not GD events so they cannot be searched with the GD search, so I added a dummy GD event to activate the GD Event search.July 10, 2016 at 12:10 am #224894This reply has been marked as private.July 10, 2016 at 2:01 am #224905You can create your own GD listings or events, like http://thebeautyiq.com/events/united-states/new-york-1/new-york-1/events-1/street-italian-market-festival/ or http://thebeautyiq.com/destinations/united-states/new-york-1/new-york-1/department-store-1/saks-fifth-avenue/
If you want to add reviews you need to allow people to post comments on new articles at WP > Discussion.
If you are the only one that can add reviews, you can add them direct into the listing in the backend, like this http://thebeautyiq.com/events/united-states/new-york-1/new-york-1/events-1/street-italian-market-festival/#reviewsJuly 10, 2016 at 5:06 pm #225214This reply has been marked as private.July 11, 2016 at 12:08 am #225331GD > design > detail tab > Exclude selected tabs from detail page > Select Reviews.
