    Website: Spiritual Hotspot
    Domain: http://www.spiritualhotspot.ca

Synopsis: Spiritual hotspot is a multi city, multi country website that focuses on events happening in different cities in that space (yoga, readings, physics etc.). Users can search different cities for events happening as well as find business that relate to this field.

    Functionality:

Geo location – You can choose different cities and see the events and places available there

Geo location – automatically brings you to the closest city to your location that has events and places.

Featured Listings: Featured listings will appear at the top and users can purchase them for a monthly fee. Featured listings should only appear in the area they choose. (example: A featured event in toronto would not appear as a featured event in New York)

    Questions:

How do I set up the different cities? Does this happen automatically? What happens if you choose to setup a homepage for each city? Can I customize those templates with divi. If you go to http://www.spiritualhotspot.ca i’d like to use a layout like this to be the default.

How do I setup the purchasing of the featured ads? Is there a way to separate the featured ads from the regular ads?

On the user accounts is there a way for them to setup their location?

I probably will have more questions but I want to make sure i have all the proper add ons to make this happen

Cities – yes, automatically, when you add listings.
City pages are created automatically. Edit the Location page template to design that: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/templates/location/

Use the Pricing Manager addon to configure price packages
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/packages/

User location – not yet, no, but you can allow users to create a listing type for a ‘profile’ – need the Custom Post Types addon to create more listing types, each with a different template is possible: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/custom-post-types/

FYI Geolocation works via the “Near Me” button or the “Near Me” link in the Near search field. Each will return listings within the default search radius. The button lands users on the location page template, the search entry lands on a search page.

thank you I will look into all this documentation.

Another question for the form for when users are adding events is there a way to control how that page looks. Currently it comes as this massive form that is very overwhelming. I’m hoping to clean up the layout maybe removing a few things. In an ideal world maybe breaking it up into a couple steps.

    Hi,

you can remove unused fields via Places > Settings > Custom Fields. Just set them as inactive.

It is not possible to make the form multi-steps. That would require extensive customization.

    Thanks

Another question, is there a way to include a map with only events and one with only places?

not today, but from next version, it will be possible using tags.

You’ll be able to assign a unique tag to each listing and or events and create a map filtered by that tag.

    Thanks
