    Hi guys

We need help with translating and importing the csv for our website wasmachinefixen.nl

    1) Translation: We managed to translate the backend to dutch (f.e. ‘places’-plugin became ‘plaatsen’-plugin.). How can we translate the whole website, also the frontend.

    2) We tried to import our own listings, but we got an error regarding the post type. Ive attached the file we used. How can we import these listings?

You can change the site language in WP – Settings – General – Site language

To share a CSV here please zip it into a *.zip file, then upload the zip.

If there error is not a valid CSV file see: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/troubleshooting/#not-a-valid-csv-file

For a procedure for import, please see: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/import-export/#recommended

    hi Peter Houtman,

Thanks for your reply. Could you zip the CSV file and attached it on your next reply so that we could check on it?

The format of the CSV is not ready for import.

Please review our recommended procedure here:
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/import-export/#recommended

Of not, you have sample data, so you need to export the current Places, and then merge your data into that exported CSV. Only use Libre or Open office.

    Sorting the CSV means

    1. Add a test listing
    2. Export the listing
    3. Open the exported sheet
    4. Merge your data into that sheet, being careful to preserve the column structure.
    5. Import your data

Leave ID blank if you are importing new listings.
