    Hello

Is there a way to have the ‘featured image’ for a listing only appear in the top banner section of the listing and not include it among the rest of the images for that listing?

    Thanks
    Matt

    Hi Matt,

Thanks for your reply. You can try removing it using Custom CSS following the guidance here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/ . If not, share the URL of the page in question and I’ll take a look at it.

    Hi Matt,

That isn’t possible with the settings available from GD Post Images
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/images/#gd_post_images

One way to get around it is to use The Images field with a limit of “1” on the package.

Then use a different field for a gallery or a slider.

    Thanks

    Thanks Alex.
Maybe this could be flagged as a feature request? Having the banner image be toggled as independent of the listing gallery would be great.

I think I understand what you’re saying about the workaround but I’m confused as to what I need to do exactly. Can you walk me through it?

    Cheers
    Matt

Add another custom field to your CPT called “Gallery” and give it key “listing_gallery”. Use the field settings to limit the field as desired. Then add that to your tabs in the tabs UI. Add it as a shortcode if you want to set more options like gallery display.

    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/tabs/

Then in your package settings, limit the default image field to 1 image.

Many thanks Alex, I’ll give it a go.
