How to make places listing the homepage

    Hello,

    I have a menu item that show a listing of al the places. Is it possible to make this the homepage of my site?

    I think there are several ways to go about this.

    First of all you might want to use widgets and shortcodes.

    As far as choosing the starting page, it is very important to set it because that is how the rest of the links for the directory know where to begin.

    At GD > Permalinks > select the Location page for the Directory start page.

    Use a WP page for your homepage at WP Settings > Reading

    Also review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layout/#directory for more options regarding the pages.

    I like what you have done with the colors, and I see you have figured out the exact image dimension for the slideshow.
