lost listing list on mainpage

    Hi,

    When we first installed geodirectory we displayed the map and a list of the latest places. We recently moved to a new host and in the process we turned off all plugins once, turned them back on and geodirectory got all messed up. We have it pretty much back to normal except that we do not get the latest places back on the main page. We tried all widgets, settings etc but they wont show..

    What gives?

    Probably a setting somewhere, if you post wp-admin details in a private reply (only staff can see) we will take a look.

    I added a widget to the GD> Home content section, if that is not what you mean then please explain and i’ll advise what to do.

    Oh that’s exactly what I wanted… I tried all the widgets but was not able. Fantastic thank you.

    Another small question : I Want to change some of the words for the listing submissions , where can I manage this?

    What words exactly, most can be changed from GD> Place Settings but if you give me an example i can tell you how.

    For the first one you can translate it, that text is in the claim listing manager, https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-addons/

    The others can mostly be edited under GD>Place Settings>Custom fields
    Simply double click the field to open it up and then change the text and save.
    You can also add new fields here.
