GD > Design > Map tab > Select category to untick by default on map
    See also https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#map

unfortunately, this method would not work since i have over 10,000 data for each category.
currently it is taking up ram memory in server and cause the website down.

i will like to set google map to load data near user’s location.
how do i set up geolocated near you like your live demo GDF modern.

or is there a way to set default to ask user to select city to show on google map.

    thank you for your support.

You have set it up currently to ask for user’s geolocation, but your site is not set up correctly for HTTPS, so geolocation will not work in most browsers.

Also, using the marker cluster on the server side should help, and maybe use the new setting at GD > Design > Map tab > Enable map cache.

    Thanks

It seems you have a SSL certificate installed: https://www.infohello.com/
You need to change WP settings from http://www.infohello.com/to https://www.infohello.com/
But something is not set up right, you will have to talk to your host about it.

    Thanks

We still have this issue with large data load in map.
I search your forum. Someone suggest /places url instead of /location.

Can you instruct how i can set this up /places

Add these shortcodes to a test page, and you will get the links to most of your pages:

    [gd_advanced_search]
    [gd_login_box]
    [gd_cpt_categories]
    [gd_location_switcher]

Also review this to learn the difference between the different GD pages: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layout/#directory

    These are your places pages:
    https://www.infohello.com/catdog/places/
    https://www.infohello.com/catdog/places/me/dog-boarding-sitters/
    etc
The map on a Listings page [like /places] only shows the map markers for the listings that are available on the page, in your case 10.

    Thanks

Move the map from GD Listings Sidebar to GD Listings Top Section at Appearance > widgets.
This explains the widget areas: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layout/#directory

    Hi Guust,

    I created a test page
    [gd_advanced_search]
    [gd_login_box]
    [gd_cpt_categories]
    [gd_location_switcher]

However the load more buttons doesn’t work. Please advise.

    Thank you.
