Sidebar missing

    Hello again,

    I’m having an issue with the sidebar, that doesn’t show neither on the users profiles/details page, and on the widget area on the theme. I don’t know if should open a new ticket for this

    And also, in the head banner on the profile appear two vertical white lines (looks like an ‘after’ or ‘before’ thing, but can’t find it)

    Hi Sonyliston,

    Thanks for your post. I’m having difficulties trying to insert a text widget on the sidebar. Everything is so slow on the backend and I’d advise that you reduce the number of 3rd party plugins. Anyway, could you try inserting a “Text Widget” in the “Main Sidebar” and insert the shortcode below. It should display the listing details on the sidebar. Then, use “UWP > Profile” widget to display the current user profile.

    Furthermore, where are white lines? Can you share some screenshots?

    Ok now is showing. But we want a specific sidebar for geodirectory (as on v1). How do I select the default sidebar for all the listings?

    Also, this shortcode gives the possibility to add a new lesting, etc. We don’t want this. Only want to appear on the detail page with the details of the profile.

    I don’t understand the ‘UWP > Profile’

    You can disable adding listings from the frontend in the CPT settings

    GDV2 does not come with sidebars and uses the sidebars on your site. https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/themes/

    Ok, but I have widgets on the main sidebar that I don’t want on the details/profile pages. Is there a way to select another sidebar? like “secondary sidebar” or any new sidebar we create?

    The white lines appear in the first image of the top slider (this is the profile from the screenshot).

    Hi sonyliston,

    Thanks for your reply. If you’re using GD widgets, you can configure the widget visibility using the Show/Hide Options or with this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-options/ .

    As for the whitelines, I don’t see the image as shown in the attached. Did you remove it?

    for the whitelines you have to be logged in, in order to view the profile.

    Login with the credentials given and you’ll see it
